We are going this year me and my sister are and always have been into the gothic stuff a lot of people will go dressed up just for fun where as I have dressed in gothic clothing for years given a chance I would go to work in all my goth clothing it’s what a true goth or emo would do
I just got a 2016 Heritage Softail Classic about a week ago and was thinking about getting the short shots for mine. This is my third Harley and I have never changed out the pipes on any of them. I am assuming it is pretty expensive.
very helpful extremely useful . i am be harassed on the road by car drive and am thing of purchasing with camera so i can pass the evidence to the police as they need a witness before taking out a section 59 for harassment . thank you mate . i am a mobility scooter user ...
PJon, there is very little difference between the the standard baffle and the Quiet Baffle in the straight shots, had i have known this i would not have bothered paying the extra for the quiet baffles. as for the Tune, if for example you had your air/fuel ratio set for, say the standard baffle, switching to the quiet baffle would have little or no noticeable affect, For the best results you will need to get the bike on a Dyno and have your supertuner mapped to best match your air intake and final exhaust setup of your choice, Pjon if your trying to reduce the loudness try fitting Top hats in addition to your current baffles this is what i have done since this vid, hope this helps, good luck, Ride safe.
Is this with the quiet baffles in? Did you have to change the EFI/supertuner mapping when switching from standard to quiet baffles? I have the same setup with my Iron and considering quiet baffles myself. Thanks.
Test rode the 700S and the 750S and bought the latter. The seat's been sorted. The 750 is also noticeably quicker, smoother and higher geared (gear indicator now included) making the rev limiter a virtual non-issue. Great all round practical bike and fun too.
Hello there Barry and Sue, Thank you very much indeed. So pleased in one step closer to getting my big bike licance :) I thought i was hearing things when you mentioned me in this vlog. It would have been lovely to see you at my local cafe. Hope you both enjoyed your ride. I was at work that day. See you next time i hope. Did you travel far? Cheers
Hi,I have 2010 street triple R,I am thinking of getting a Tiger 800 is it as much fun as the street,I really love the street so it would be hard to even think of trading her in.Thanks
These bikes are now less than £5k brand new in the UK because there is an upgrade to 750 on its way (God only knows why Honda don't want it to fit in the A2 category any more!) If you are a car driver who wants a bike to commute then these cannot be beaten. If you are a died in the wool, tank slapping biker who can't handle short shifting then look elsewhere. Personally I never hit the 6500 rev limiter because it's pointless, peak power is about 5k rpm. My only criticism is the seat. It has hardly any padding but it bends about a cm if you put any weight on the sides, worst of both worlds! Apart from that, what is not to like about a bike that does 80mpg, has hidden storage for a helmet and has ABS brakes, all for less than £5k? Oh, and in silver it looks MUCH better than the white one in this vid!
Agree with all you say Oldbloke I think Honda want it out of the A2 is because the CB500 sit's nicely in the A2 bracket so probably don't want to compete against themselfs.
I'm not surprised you Love It Gary, WE all have to look at MPG figures more and more these days, I currently have a Harley Iron and Tiger 800 in my stable and I'm still tempted by this Honda, Its a Clever concept. My brother in law has the Sprint, Great Bike also, Ride Safe.
I bought one recently and love it. It is a 2nd bike to my Triumph Sprint GT, It is my commuter bike. As such it fits the bill just brilliant. Def will not set the world on fire with power but at around 70mpg commuting you can forgive it. Engine is so smooth and it handles really well. If power is not your thing, this bike is hard to pass. Nice to see the beautiful Isle of Man also.
I had a Kawasaki ER6F that had 72hp and torque similar to the NC700 and I was happy with that kind of power. I also was happy with the 65hp on the KTM Duke 690, so, I don't need to have 100hp, but the NC felt slow to me, just slightly faster then my 300cc scooter (30hp). Supposedly there's a NC750 coming out in 2014. If it was a few kg lighter (200kg tops) and had 7-8hp more I think I could live with it. I love it's handling, brakes, comfort, everything else is great!
So, did you get one (or X) in the end or not? I've got a 98hp FZ6 that's similar to your Street Triple in terms of power and stuff, and I've ridden the NC700X at least 5 times and I love it, but I just don't know if I could live with 48hp. It needs AT LEAST 55hp. :-(
Well ... the only reason would be for more comfort i.e... the Honda NC series are more upright and relaxed compared to my Street Triple, and in my old age it is comfort i am now putting at the top of the list when considering any change The Honda in my opinion is a well thought out motorcycle and i believe will do very well. The Triumph is superb and as i change my bikes often i WILL miss her. Hope this helps Garry.
HI Garry H, The Triumph I have is the Street Triple R 675cc Not the speed triple which is 1050cc. First off let me make this quite clear, the Street triple R is a far superior bike to the honda and very much more powerful, so why would i even consider the honda?.....
I am also interested in the NC700 and found your test interesting. However, I don't understand why you would change from your Speed Triple to the Honda. Is the Triumph not 1050cc and the Honda only 670cc?. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the power of the Honda compared to the Triple and why you would prefer the Honda over the Triple. Thanks.
Hi gitabad, the bike i tested was still being run in so i did not take to anywhere near its top speed, the engine is tuned for low end torque and is very low revving, I am confident it could cruise al day around 70-75 mph and if pushed would run out of breath around 85-90mph...... this is just a guesstimate...... thanks for viewing and comment......... ride safe.
