1: the grass trigger plant was not shown eating any insects but I will do more looking into that later 2: I only saw 5 actual different types of carnivorous plant; pitcher plants, plants with sticky stuff on it to catch bugs, flytraps, water plants with pods to catch little osopods, and plants that eat things with their roots. 3: you found ONE pitcher plant that was found with a pygmy shrew, the smallest mammal in the world, the title should have been "5 plants that eat bugs and their variants, one event got a pygmy shrew!" That would have been a much more understandable title. 4:*this video was 90% yap* you could have easily just stated the 5 types and their variants in 8 minutes
I looked it up and there is a bunch of people saying the trigger plant is carnivorous because it has enzymes, but I have not seen one actually eating a bug, since half the stuff on the internet nowadays is ai generated websites I think that a rumor might have just been started and a bunch of people copied each other. Maybe it is but I am definitely not going to trust random info on the internet just because I hear a lot of people saying its true. Maybe I'm just a hater though😆
Miracle berry is the most bizarre thing ive ever tried. I didn't try it fresh, but in a compressed powder form (tablet). Then of course i ate a variety of sour fruit (lemon, lime, grapefruit)...it was like eating candy. If i could find the berries fresh, I would buy them.
Thanks a lot! I really enjoyed digging into the world of giant fruits and vegetables and learning about the unique methods behind these record-breaking achievements. Glad you had fun watching!
I can say that I'm more cultured than most of my 7 billions human earthlings since I've eaten Durians, Mangostens, the Salaks, Rambutans and Feijaos that most have not. The salak, mangosten and rambutans being my three favorites. Durian is the most addictive fruit. Once you go durian, you don't go back!
I have tried durian, it was the absolute nastiest food I have ever put in my mouth. My first thought at tasting it was that I had a used gause bandage in my mouth.
i am not voting based on RU-vid commercials. I am voting based on my wallet, the crap economy, and the shit show that Harris/Biden has given us over the last 4 years. So please ditch the political ads. I am not interested. byw I won't vote for local Democrats either.
Feijoa grows well in California. It is widely planted as an ornamental. Unfortunately most Californians don't know that the flowers and fruit of feijoa are edible, so the fruit goes to waste
Not only is the gac fruit a wonderful gift from nature with its unique flavor, but it also offers many valuable health benefits. Thank you for sharing this information with me.🥰🥰🥰
Superb narration. I think the narrator is a non Caucausian. He knows what he is talking about. He has done his research very knowledgeable. I Will give him 9/10 . Simply for the reasona he committed to mention that ambulance comes in 2 variety red and yellow in my country anyway one of the Asean country. Also the narrator omitted to mention mention fruits like Duke langsat Duke langsat jampu ayer. These are very popular fruits in my country. Also data kuching( cats eyes). I do not like fruits from temperate climates like apples pears berries. They are boring stale sometimes tasteless. Well done narrator.* sorry do not k ow your name).
What a great video! From the excellent writing and narration, to the very nice visuals, you have created something well worth the time to watch. Thank you!
may be you should also include foxgloves. This is also a very toxic plant that often grows in gardens. Thanks for this film, did not know a few of the dangerous ones !
Ah, yes Foxgloves! Thanks for pointing it out, it would have been nice to make it Top 25, not 24... Maybe that’ll be in a future video! Glad you enjoyed the film and learned something new.
They didn't ban the mangosteen because of a damn fruit fly😂 they banned it because it has medicinal value! 😮 Then they had the nerve to "irradiate it" (treat it with radiation) so now you have a toxic radioactive fruit with zero medicinal value! The FDA and this MATRIX pisses me off.😤
Born in Surinam, living for 44 years in the Netherlands, it feels like I'm back in my childhood (at 9 years left Surinam). Thank you for displaying all these fruits. Sometimes it was mouthwatering because I still remember the taste. In October my mother is going to Surinam. I asked her if possible to bring star apple and djamoen 😋
It's funny how the FDA DISCONTINUED THE RESEARCH ON THE MIRICLE FRUIT. Personally I don't trust the FDA I believe the organization should be repurposed or completely overhauled due to the years of influence from politicians. A large portion of foods that should be banned but causes cancer and numerous health problems not to mention Byproducts by companies that decimate the environment. It is also my belief that big pharma pays FDA to keep big pharma producing questionable cures or medicines. FFT
