A good video but why do you have your music playing, to me it spoils the video it's good to hear the sounds of people and what ever other sounds are on the ships.🚢
Great tour… was on the Grandeur just before she went into dry dock last spring. Did you sail after the dry dock? Also wondered how the wifi was? You could only access wifi in the main foyer when we were on her.
I just went so I’m assuming it would be after dry dock. The Wi-Fi was ok. I had it in my room and was uploading videos to my Google drive. It’s a lot better than Virgins 😁👍
The hotel does not have a shuttle but there is a cruise port shuttle but it only runs from the port to Bayside. Bayside is across the street so a short walk you can wait for the shuttle but it was a $7 Uber ride from the hotel to the port so we just paid the Uber fare versus lugging the luggage to Bayside and waiting for the shuttle. 😁
We have watched literally dozens of ship tours of the Virgin ships and this was the first one that mentioned the topless bathing section. My wife and I appreciate knowing that they have space available where she can remove her top. Thank you for bringing that to our attention.

Yes. It could use a little extra money but it’s all from private funds not city or airport funded so they are doing the best they can and the docents are really great.
@@mytravelagentdavid Don't get me wrong, what's been done is great. Is there more to do? Sure. No doubt a huge chunk has been spent on unglamorous things such as roofing and mechanicals. The central room looks wonderful and perfectly reflects the feel and style of the overall building. I'm very impressed with the period-correct showcases and wonder if they were curated or commissioned. All the exhibits and displays appear spot-on and delighted there's a very dedicated and knowledgeable staff. Hopefully they'll be able to address the exterior more thoroughly in the near future and perhaps finish the interior.
I would have enjoyed the video much more if there wasn't the distracting music playing over your voice. Thanks for the information but I hope with future vids you will leave the music off. I couldn't watch the video for the music distraction.

I agree with most of what you have said. My sisters family went julyb5th sailing 2 came home with covid, another came home with bedbugs. My family just went july 19th sailing My husband and myself both came home with covid. Also they are definitely not casino driven we gambled slot and so did my sister and her husband on their cruise and we all only got like 400 pts and you need like 5000 pts to be invited back. We consistently get free cabins on carnival for gambling with them😢
I worked at HOU with Texas International and Continental for many years and we'd walk by the terminal from one hangar to the other and always loved the Art Deco construction. We used to perform X-rays of our A/C at night in the area the plane is now sitting. Years of rumors about restoring the building finally happened and I'm really glad the old girl looks so nice now.
When I first went down there in the 80s, there was only one hotel on the beach and they have this long table for customs and they have this traffic light there if it was green, you went through red they search your luggage, but we figure it out real quick. There would be nine greens in a row, and then the red people scrambling in line.??? If you can’t have fun in Cancun, you’re not trying just don’t be stupid about it
