I thought you built one of those..it seems a little bit tricky but the result looks absolutely great..it looks so cool when you spin it.Great work as always 💪👌👍
Yes, I have already built one but it was much bigger and took much longer to make. But this little puzzle is also fun to do and very nice for a beginner. Thanks for your great comment Martin 😊👍
Bonjour.
Hello I did not watch you entire because I had only a question I need answered and I did not see it before time stamp 16:54! I love figuring things out by myself when possible the puzzle is to work the mind, but there is one part not explain and that is why I am here! Part F1 seen at the top of page upper right hand corner next to part Y7 being add with part 6! Where does part F1 go? What does part F1 do? I don't see it being add anywhere I look! Do you take constructive criticism? If yes please read on; if no please stop here! Peace to you! In my opinion which means nothing at the end of the day however I do have many years of work expenses in wood decades, and I believe some parts need to be sanded before there put together or your risk breaking them! I am talking about A03, and A02 making Y4, and all parts like this one which include step 5! I sanded A03, and A02 down to almost taking most all of the burn color off the wood the parts come together with easy, 5 minutes of sanding slowly and checking a number of times to see if the parts slide together with out push to hard, and nearly zero risk of breaking! If you look at part Y4 on page 2 you will see the wax block right next to that you see what should be the sand paper like what you see on page one top right hand corner to the right of the wax block! I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but even I need help from time to time as you have see above and I am always open to learning something new! No hate or shame sent your way my intent is to only teach! Peace to you!
Hello, I accept criticism, there is no problem, especially when it remains kind like your comment. Receiving advice is always very helpful and I thank you for it. For part F1 it is just used to place the orange spacers on the iron rods, although I did not use them because there were no problems putting these spacers. I just find it a shame that there weren't more explanations in the instructions. Apart from that it was a bit of a difficult build but very enjoyable to do. Thank you for your comment 😊👍
@@satorrotas It is I who should thank you for your fast answer so thank you it helps! Your correct the instructions are weak, but I do understand why the instruction book is for many languages and some drawings just don't help everyone! Have you done any Lego building some of their instructions books can get real silly at times and I find many mistakes however with advance mechanical skills that I have I get pass most of them this being one of the biggest reason for getting hard to do puzzles and I have the time! However some do mess with this one being as simply as it gets an auxiliary part that I don't need that is a new one for me but than this is my hobby learning to think outside my box my safety zone! Just so you know I am actually living in France I am French I was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine because my American father came to France with the US army and he meets my very French mother, well things happen, and me being one of them! However I was raised on American army bases or in the States so I never did any French schools however I do speak French in part because I need to eat and the French food let's just say its not MacDonald's trash food, and please don't started on the wine here yes I drink wine because I am half French and I eat French cheese with it why because I was born here, and who in there right mind wants American cheese when you can have better cheese and wash down with French wine! I was born at night but rest assured it was not last night I am French down to my bones I just can't read or write in French I never learned it! I live near Perpignan hey at less I choice one of France wine counties to live in and if I look at my bedroom window I see vineyards yes more than one! The wine here is to die for I have had many of them! I would like to believe my blood is red because of all the red wine I do drink I know its not but how cares right this is France! Anyhow thanks for you help I am building three sets but one set is for little 9 boy who lives near me who has no father because he has two mother and the kids tease him for it so he get a free set to boost his moral! Why because I can, and I believe I should I was 9 years old myself we are all humans no matter what! Peace to you!
Hello, first of all thank you for your great message. I am happy that you live in France and that you appreciate our wines and cheeses, besides Perpignan is a very city and above all we eat well there because there are many culinary specialties that are really pleasant to taste. Thank you for telling me your story and also for giving this gift to this child, it’s a nice gesture.
@@satorrotasHappy 14 of July! Hey my friend I have an update on this puzzle some good news, and some bad news! I just had dinner with cheese and wine from Collioure next to Banyuls-sur-Mer both villages make some top shelf wine to die for level. If you every come here check those to villages out you can thank me later! Back to the puzzle some bad at less I think it the engineer that drew the instruction book made a big mistake putting Y6, and Y7 together in the last part of step 8 it toke a good part of the day fixing the mistake! If you have a small cordless drill works great, and enough small piece of wood from the set you can fix this! It was to narrow in part, and to wide in other parts you use the small piece wood to full in the gap but make sure it is even everywhere at less as much as you can! Yes this puzzle is not made for 14 year old's is it not easy, but this why I bought the puzzle I have the skills, the tools, the time, most importantly the need to do something, so I don't care what it takes I will get it done my way! The Puzzle also needs sand in place not told in the instruction book! The parts should slide together with little force if you need to tap or push hard you need to sand more, but not so much that is falls out! As stated above step 4, and 5 you need to sand off the burn side as well as the unburn side you need sand both inside and outside, but do it slowly best if done by hand no power sander here! If you sand to much that OK most of the time you can use glue but double check your work by looking ahead to see where all the parts go don't just glue everything think ahead first! There are two glues one can use the white wood glue is great for wood but once dry it can be to late to remove if you made a mistake so double check your work first! The other glue is superglue however this not made for wood, glue your fingers together so be careful double check then recheck your work but sometimes this glue falls apart if you use just a little bit which good if you make a mistake. I use superglue when I need a quick dry on a small piece just to the piece in place as a third hand only otherwise the white glue is best however this comes with experience and time this why I call this my hobby I am not paid to do this I play to do this! I here for fun, and to think outside the box because boxes are to small there is room to grow on the outside! Peace brother!
@@ivansmith654 Hi, I know Collioure, I am near Montpellier, I stopped once to visit, because sometimes I go to Spain, it's really a beautiful place. Thank you for this information and your explanations which will be useful to me.
