Turo is a scam. They charged me $200 for damages they found after I returned the car. No damages found when I signed off with the owner!!! The cost for damages never exceeds $2000 because their scammy insurance plan.
Im a power host in Miami. Turo is a business, people get in it without analyzing all the numbers. Some host count gross revenue as if it is net profit. Not taking into consideration the maintenance, depreciation, and the liability of running a business. Also that car rental is extremely seasonal. In July I can easily make $25k while in September will be $15k
I'm starting the business, but I'm very clear on what I want to accomplish, pay off the car I bought specifically for this business, and then pay off my daily driver, after that, I might be out, or I might be in 🤷♂
right, Turo fees are ridiculous, I don't even know how people keep renting from Turo, which is good for me by the way, I have a fleet of 11 cars in Miami market its always busy even its saturated so its the race to the bottom on prices but still I prefer to do it and grow my fleet as a full time income
Yes, it sucks now I had six vehicles that brought in over $9k per month now it’s about $3600 trash my vehicles are only about three years old and they’re still very clean no issues all SUVs
I got lucky back in 2018 when I went to puerto Vallarta. I got a clean Jetta through Val car rental for $360 for a whole week and insurance included! While using Turo. The other big time rental agencies were charging a $350 non refundable deposit and and 600 dollar refundable deposit. It’s a scam Mexico does and it’s pathetic. I’m sure they didn’t like that insurance got bypassed through turo and gave Turo the boot. All I did on my next trip was call the Mexico rental car company in puerto Vallarta and got my rental. Easy peezy.
I don't know what's your business experience is but this is not how business works. From a month to month basis anything you net over your overhead including car payments is your immediate profit. What's churro has for free $750,000 in insurance coverage. Now 100,000 mi on a car is relative because if it's highway miles that's only about 60,000 miles. A car that's well maintained oil change regularly is a 300,000 me car
Cool man this changed my life in so many ways me and my wife needed a car for our kid and money to get our life together thanks man you are a blessing god bless you you selfless little saint you
Hey Dave I’m in Florida (near Disney) would it be a good idea to follow your steps in the video to get into the turo business I know for a fact here in Florida what ever car I get would be rented out constantly but I would like your help and guide in this matter thanks from Florida (near Disney)
Even though this video is two years old, I have questions to ask I’m in need of a car for myself, and I was told I don’t have any credit .getting these cars. Do I need a EIN number so tired of going to these dealerships and they hold you for hours, knowing that they can’t help you also, do I need to rent the car out if I go this route
So once you use the capital, one pre approval and you put 0 down on the vehicle.Do you just get the preapproval?Check deposited into your account or how does that work?
I just got a car back with the most pungent “420” smell. Besides me being absolutely livid, I’ve been cleaning, vacuuming, and scrubbing for hours. Smell is better but still strong - to me, as a non-smoker. Next guest will arrive in 2 days. I’m ordering the ozone generator right now! Thanks for that!!
How come we don’t see any more videos from you? It’s been ten months and the appeal of your videos to me was the fact that this was just something coming from an average guy going through the business and taking us through his learning experiences. Would be nice to see an update.
