bro I just stumbled across your videos and thought you were kid rock or his son. I do everything you do and am into everything your're in to. I live in Va Beach. I was stationed at Lejeune from 09 to 11 w/ 3/9. I thought I was the only one of my kind but i'm glad to see you taking it easy for the rest of us. You're the man for your time and place. I have that exact same maul from the exact same place. I used it so much it has my blood caked on the handle. I scythe my yard. I wish your channel great success and may God bless you and your family. Semper Fidelis.
Looks like you are missing your depth lever. The lift chain on the back should be loose and all the way down and the angle of the draw bar controls the depth
The six volt starter is turning very fast due to twelve volts. The starter drive slings into flywheel due to starter speed. When the engine tries to fire it kicks the starter drive out of the flywheel, but it is turning so fast it tries to reenter the flywheel. That is the grinding you hear. If the engine starts great the first time, it should not grind. Good luck, mind does the same.
Hi there, great video. I live in New York and normally heat with fuel oil. But with all that's going on in the world, I am concerned about what I will do next winter. Because I live in New York and they are implementing all sorts of new laws about where I can purchase firewood from and the distance it can travel and permits and regulations and other BS and because I am stupid enough to still live in New York. If I have to obtain logs and then split them myself. What woods would you recommend I purchase?
