Very helpful video. I am so glad I found this channel. I bought a vintage dress pattern and the sleeve pattern piece was missing. So I am wondering if there is a video for drafting a sleeve to fit a specific armscye measurement and curve?
This is the most helpful sewing video I have ever seen! I can now sew any type of collar to any garment. I will even be able to add new collars to store-bought clothes for an updated look or a fashion statement. Thank you most sincerely 🙏
Thanks so much ma @yemioge pls I have a question If the corset will be having a yoke at the upper part are to maintain the upper busrt line or we go up by ½ or 1 inch thank you ma
The zip is what bothers me whenever I think of making the reversible jacket.....the zip has one right side, how do you manage it for the other side when you wear it inside out.... I mean the zipping..... I don't know if you understand my question ma
Hi Yemi Oge.Thanks for the tutorial. But am a bit confused though, you started with legnth 41 and 36.But now its legnth 40 and 27...kindly explain to me.
It was a bit of a process to get through but for those of us that struggled to understand, she drafted a full circle skirt. She then re folded the fabric off about the length she wanted the front to be, and shifted where the waist hole is on the fabric. Moving it from the center of the skirt pattern towards one edge to get less length on one side and more length on the other. It’s a good tutorial, I wonder though if you will end up with the back being too long to wear? May need to take that into account when drafting the original skirt.
Thank you Mma, a very clear and easy to follow description. Am making a short sleeve top and wanted built in sleeves and this description was perfect. Thank you so much, you have a new subsciber.
Though it is well detailed, but please ma,use a marker,it shows more, unlike the pen u used,it's so frustrating, I had to strain my eyes to see the markings
Hello, great job! After creating a new armhole, I discovered it fell below my bustline, how then doing I input my bust measurement without it being bent ( from your tutorial, the armhole was 7 , mine is 8)
