I still love this music and put it on every now and then, nearly always brings me into a certain state, beyond this world :) Great what they were able to create in 8 bit, with a sound that would now be considered terrible, but the atmosphere is beyond great!
Termina Field theme is the same as Hyrule Field in A link to the past. As someone who played A link to the past before Ocarina Of Time followed by Majora's Mask, always found that a pleasant surprise bringing back to old feels back then.
This game is hard to play for me. But I enjoy the music and I want to get beyond what this adventure can give. But I know I can ever or never try again, I would be terrified of the game over screen and hearing ganon's laugh alot on my Zelda collector edition on GameCube.😅 This makes me wonder if this is where the legendary theme: temple Originally Came from this game :) As it's iconic in smash bros series
This is soo when my angel of death takes my gold coin out of my hand and tells me I will take you too the land of judgment 😉❤❤❤ it's too epic this music link zelda !!!
I used to wake up to this music we used to wake up early and put the game on mom used to say it's to early go back to bed. But we still played those where the real days. This music is embedded in my brain .
So let me get this straight. In Captain N, Link finally gets a kiss after being a bigger ass than he’s ever been. Wow what a lesson. And what a load of crock. At least in the Zelda cartoon series, Link was a bit of an ass, but funny. Here, he’s a huge ass, and that’s it. Lame.
One of the reasons I really like this soundtrack is because it makes you feel sorry the imp, who is manipulated and misunderstood by the mask due to the imps mischievous nature. The imp / skull kid is not evil but the mask is. Holding power is not what creates power but is how we use it that defines us.
This was my younger brother's favorite game when we were kids, I never even played it one time but I remember hearing all these themes while he played...
I'll never forget getting this in 1989 for my birthday. I had collected both the red and blue rings and whistles, had a shit ton of heart HP, and was generally killing it at the game, when the power went out, cut the power to the NES during the game. When it came back and I restarted the NES, all my saves were gone. I was so angry and sad that I cried for a literal hour lol.
Speaking of, if any of you have an Ocarina of Time I'll trade you a calculation implement for it because that's what I'll need to pass my Optimization exam on Monday.
Something about this feels so magical, and it's hard to explain why. Orchestra music is here to say for The Legend of Zelda series and it's all great stuff, but there's something about the simplicity of this chiptune music and how it's still able to convey specific emotions and feeling just goes to show how much of an incredibly composer Koji Kondo is.
