I been throwing this idea around to a few hunting channels like yours, you pick a random track of woods in different areas around the states, the tracks of land can be private or public big or small, your basically laying out how you would set up that particular parcel. That’s the content that would explode in views because it’s wanted
Absolutely, check out some of our other videos as we're already doing this. We are showing how we are setting up an over-the-top developed farm versus a lease where were limited on what all we can do.
The switch should be somewhat funtional at creating the travel corridors this year if we get some rains and fully functional next year ! Miscanthis may be a few 😜
@@outdoorsmanallday I ordered it back in March from Real world . The 100 rhizome bag had over 130 in it ! I was able to screen two different stand locations with 3 rows of 15 yards each . It’s some awesome stuff man
Are you that ignorant to think a fence isn’t needed on one or more sides of a property to direct mature deer by a stand or away from neighbors?? Don’t knock it
Awesome! Let me just say I’ve planted a lot of different varieties of switchgrass and by far the best most easy to establish is RC Big Rock germinates like alfalfa it’s amazing and I’ve planted RWWP and it’s great to but dosnt compare on ease of establishment
My family been building old box blinds for 100 years, what exactly do you mean “started the box blind craze” people been hunting out if shooting shacks for as long as people been hunting.
This is one of the original drury blinds you used to see on all their videos .. this farm used to be owned by Terry drury .. shortly after they started hunting out of these was when you started seeing blinds being mass produced and sold at stores !
Here in NW Alabama big woods I find areas like that with big aggressive rubs only in rut bed areas. A big buck will wait on the does to come to him in areas like that. But a bucks core here looks entirely different. But I still get excited on any big rubs.
These days the farms for sale are like the leftovers…leftovers compared to 2015 ish and prior. Prices are insane. Just mad I didn’t cash in on it when I could have. 😢
Yup that’s why we tell people to get on our pre market list to see stuff first … prices will continue to rise .. supply and demand … there is very low supply
Does that 49 inch high woven wire 100% of the time keep deer from jumping it. If along a fencline ? (Plus the one foot up) 61 inches high I’m assuming ? Let’s just say if you want to keep deer out of a neighboring property? Or does it need to be taller.
Needs taller .. the more out of their way you want them to go the higher it needs to be … goal with these funnels is that if they needed to escape from Danger they could Jump it but will take the path of least resistance to bow range under normal circumstances
It's meant to funnel/bring deer into bow range. The fences are 49" woven wire with a gap on the bottom to allow critters to pass underneath. Some deer might still go under or jump over, but a majority will walk the "path of least resistance" around the ends. On this farm we built two fences. Each fence had a tree stand or box blind within 40-50 yards on each end.
@@TheWhitetailGroup thanks for the response. As a ex Iowa resident in northern Missouri now I still love following, learning, an implementing on my place. An the fence I've been thinking of all summer. Thanks
I believe all farms should be offered to neighbors instead of bringing all these yuppies in changing the dynamics of a way of life. They move in and think they own everything and want to change everything.... Sick what money and politics have done to people and country... Greed!
