The OV-1 Mohawk was NOT made for bombing. It was made for aerial recon and surveillance. I flew over 1000 hrs in this aircraft in the 80's and 90's. It was the best aircraft the Army ever had.
Get to see something like this every other day. A local air freight company still fly's the C-46 Commandos. Not to mention a small fleet of DC6's. Love the sound of piston pounders.
