I've been an electronic/electromechanical tech since 1985. Thermals can definitely test your patience, freeze spray and a heat gun can be your best friends. I commend you on your troubleshooting ability and good explanations.
El Snap on zeus viene con osiloscopio de 4 canales, pero canal 1 y canal 2 viene con cable para coneccion a tierra integrado pero el canal 3 y 4 en los cables no traen conexion a tierra, tendran tierran compartidas para esos caneles 3 y 4.
Interesting way I saw was test continuity on the circuit then unplug the loads on that circuit and the beeping should continue cause it’s shorted to ground. Then test spots until beep goes off. If you don’t have correct amperage bulb of course. But just another way I found interesting
I have 1998 GMC Sierra c3500 I am having a problem with getting it to turn over, but I relay that my crank fuse is blown so will that stop the truck from starting.
Sounds like you took the right steps, minus the rabbit hole. how come it always seems like to bite us in the ass when we don't do a full diagnosis for ourselves. What did you end up finding?
I took my son dodge dart into premier Dodge Park in Buena Park ca. his cluster flashing. And check engine light code say faulty pressure oil sensor . They wanted 275 for each item to diagnose I said don’t know. The writer said that only if you don’t have it repaired after diagnosis. That it would be just the repair cost . He needs his car for college next week so I said ok. I get a text first thing in the am , I dropped it off late afternoon yesterday.he says ya we need to drop the oil pan and remove the dash cluster so it going to be another 1650. To diagnose it. So I told him first I’m not a mechanic but oil pressure issue should be one of three things a oil pump , oil pressure sensor or long shot on car with 40k on it is oil filter possible. All of that shouldn’t be issue with a /75 diagnoses . The dash cluster flashing. He said when I dropped it off .he scanned it. And it probably the wiring , I ask can’t he hook up the computer and it tell it what it is. He said no I scanned it he won’t get anymore info. But now they want another 1650 to chase it . I’m going to pick it up tomorrow. I don’t trust them I don’t think they did a dam thing for $550
what is a 5v box? if i wanted to use the ats pressure transducer on my snap on zeus what parts do i need and what do the lead connections look like? also does there exist an adapter for me to hook up the ats transducer to my snap on compression tester adapters?
@@JarheadDiagnostics I like it. It looks like it's setup a little differently than the Topdon unit on your scanner but seems to have the same functions.
I have owned the max w/scope for almost 3 months. I played with the scope for one week after hours only and I really like it. just wish that i could find a way to save waveforms to a file. yes i know how to create a reference waveform. the only other thing that i can think of to try, is to purchase an SD card because if you read the really small print after hitting Quick Save button - thats where it states that it is going to.
I suck at electrical, first of all. I have an 08 grand cherokee with several issues that all turned up at one time. All my brake lights, ABS, BAS traction control are all on as soon as I reach like 20mph. That was first. I took it into the shop to replace a water pump, weld up some exhaust flanges and an oil change. Picked it up and the rear door ajar light is on. Didn't think much of it. Couple days later both my power seats quit working. No movement and no heated seats. Then I noticed the pedal adjust isn't working either. I tracked down a seat/heater circuit breaker that is extremely hot. This makes me think a short somewhere but I don't know where to begin looking. I have a test light and basic home voltmeter. Any suggestions as to where to start looking?

I would like to see black. Especially if it's going to have the bumper back on. I think a cool thing would make the mount connect the full length and use all the slots. Probably much harder to print.
so if your 05 suburban has crank but no start which ground do you refer to to start. ive already had two mechanics try to replace 3 sensors and also the fuel pump. no the truck kicks the starter when key is in the acessory position. however, it will not fire but will crank
Just found your channel. There are some channels where you might be getting some good info but presentation is horrible. "I lak the way yew tawk!" Also you've got this emphasis on diagnostics. That's what I'm interested in. I checked a couple of your videos and the info is there. Thanks for this.
