This is a really interesting and important lecture. Well worth the time listening to it. I was however disappointed that although critical disability studies was invoked, there was no mention of mad studies or the work being done in relation to psychiatrised children. This seemed oddly absent particularly given of the ways in which 'early intervention' is being taken up within child and adolescent mental health services in order to 'fix' the 'wrongly developing' child.
