I have a 2023 RAM 1500 classic Warlock and had a set installed on it, i bought them on ebay for $181.09 WITH tax and shipping, look AMAZING and quality coating. EXTREMELY satisfied
What I've found with my electric versus my gas tools....most of my gas tools work much better, but it's so much more convenient to pull out the electric for quick jobs meaning I tend to use them more often. I have a larger Echo backpack blower...and the thing is a beast, but it's extremely loud, heavy, and I only tend to fire it up during the fall when the leaves are wet and thick.
This kind of light should be IPX 7, and a slow strobe (a flash every 2s or 3s) is missing. A multicolor mode is pretty useless, only white and red is enough.
Truly appreciate this video. I have a 2016 Ford Explorer with 9 interior speakers & Sony factory amp....VERY underwhelming. I'm replacing all w/OEM amps and speakers and a 12" sub. While researching, I narrowed down 3.5 speakers to two between Skar and Pioneer (best bang for buck shopping). I think the extra RMS and crossovers will be worth the money, especially after seeing this video...plus, pioneer has been doing their thing for a LONG time. I'll rock with Skar for the sub tho...thanks for sharing!
The manual states the Icon charging indicator should turn red when charging and mine does not. Was wanting to see you charging the Icon to see if mine is defective?
I heard Skar is new on the scene and they have decent speakers that compete with established brands. I have the same year and make truck and just added an additional 8" subwoofer to supplement the stock one. I am going to do the door and dash speakers next. I am considering this brand for my dash too.
I'm doing similar. Tekton 12 point round sockets. Square Milwaukee for 6 point. I like how with Tekton it's no skips. So I still get the sockets Milwaukee doesn't include at least.
Question why did you go back with a full range speaker and not go back with a dedicated tweeter like what came out. I ask bc in theory wouldn’t a dedicated tweeter hit the highs better than a full range speaker?
I just bought the same system I got an suv and I’m getting it installed in a couple of days! I’m so fucken stoked, I used to run a Skar 3000 watt 15 and I had a 4000 watt amp lol definitely didn’t need that big but it was cheap lol either way I’m super happy to have these 10s
The only problem I have with milwaukee non heated cold gear is that is priced the same and sometimes more expencive than carhartt and is less than half the quality
Question I run 2 kicker comp c when I turn bass all way down on jvc head unit and turn bass knob all way up I get no bass until I turn up bass setting all the way is that normal?
Just you can see light in the display but no numbers. I took my to get fix in dewalt center and the guy told me that will take about a month to get a replacement but it passed 2 months with no call back .that service is useless. I heard that Milwaukee M18 Inflator 2848-20 i s better or Viair88p
did you set the gains on the amp property ..althought i aint never seen no aftermarket speakers look like factory but if you running a 50x4 amp blowing skar 3.5s maybe your amp or "headunits signals"clipping . in the end u mentioned needing the resistor/crossover without blowing it sounds like your amp or headunits crossovers setting is wack also ..idk just a suggestion keep bassing on G🤘🏽
That's good stuff, matching up the head unit brand with the door and dash speakers. I'm running a JVC head unit to JVC dash and doors in my Dodge, and they sound amazing! Added a 700w class D monoblock to a single 12" and the car sounds unbelievable, on stock electric system!
Yeah, those are the factory Dodge joints, I saw the Chrysler logo on the magnet. I think he said he returned the Skars for refund, and shit, I would too if it blows from head unit power.
i find it hard to believe the head unit pushed enough power to blow skars unless it was just a defective set. cause max rms from a head unit is typically 45w. and factory subs are 90w@@russelldaniels1797
I might have to give pioneer another shot after watching this. I’m running all skar speakers in my car, 4 JL Audio subs. 4 amps. Really just 3 normally. One of the amps is reserved for my loudspeaker set up. 5.25 component front door, 4” rear door. But my first experience with pioneer speakers, I had an older set of TS-G1044R. I know they’re only 4” coaxials, but they SUCKED in my opinion. Just really pitchy no matter how much I EQ’d. I also had a set of 6x9’s. A little better but still the same issue. I love pioneers amps, and head units. That’s what I’m currently using. But i haven’t given the speakers a chance again. I think they just released a new line of speakers too. So MAYBE I’ll give them another shot lol. Love the video man
