Review and discussion channel for knives and EDC with plenty of giveaways. I have an easygoing yet very direct style which I hope lends something different to the knife community. I am also not afraid to call out bad products or let you know when something is not a good value for your hard-earned money. I hope you enjoy my channel!
I got the M390 version for a demo knife to demonstrate for my sharpening service I want to provide. I put an 18 degree bevel on it and spent some extra time with ceramic and the strop. It got a really nice edge on it. It easily shaves facial hair and cuts paper towels pretty clean. I'm pretty happy with this little knife.
On a serious note though the holes are there to both lighten the knife since it’s got full liners which make it heavy and to provide indexing points for flipping the knife without looking in an emergency situation.
When you think about it that’s what separates the Customs from the mass production pieces. It’s the scales, and clip. I’m actually on my way to the post office to return the Exclusive Shaman BladeHQ is selling currently. The action is terrible, and the edges are all extremely sharp. A spider flick almost cost me a finger tip. Not worth $265…
What's the grade titanium? What's the steel being used? What's the pivot and zen pins material? Is it blade or handle heavy or is it neutral? What's the system? Bushings? Floating? Or bearings?
Right now I am really enjoying the Squid Industries Hydro. Honestly the Medford Viceroy isn’t far behind on my favorites list. The Krake Raken is also a favorite.
I carry this knife, all black and looking for one now that's partially serrated. This knife works for me and never let me down. It works for me but everybody's different.
I dunno why this is so funny to me, but that’s really cool. I own the kaviso 80’s camo carbon front flipper mini tempest, so that definitely wouldn’t make a good selichos carry
On the fake 940-1 box, the "C" in Benchmade is clearly the wrong size(almost looks elongated/ too tall) when compared to the rest of the font . This is a dead give away.
TR-3 Integrity Manual. There is an older version but this was a limited release at Blade Show with stainless steel handles and Irie compound grind blade. .
The more you spend, the better the box. And you can get a Sheath made in u s a. Also alot of people don't know that buck also makes high end customs i have 2 customs made in 1987 And they have mammoth ivory handles and are works of art.
It was the blade that cut him. Only this time it was the blade got him while the knife was closed. It’s so close to the back and where this knife don’t have a backspacer his finger was able to get into the groove opening enough to hit the blade.
