I kinda agree to some degree. Batman's rogue's gallery is interesting but I always consider him more as a detective type. The series itself feels like CSI but with costumes and a little bit of power. I like anything batman though, but I like him because he's not super. He is just a hero.
When I was about 4 or 5 yr old I'm more hooked in GetterRobo ( RPN or PTV). I just liked the 3 configuration of the robot but Voltes and Daimos is more available. For MazingerZ, and Grendizer. I was only able to watch a few episodes in tv but mostly through Betamax and VHS only (via mayayamang kaibigan na may kamaganak sa states 😂😂😂)
If you want Filipino Komiks and Filipino media to be successful look to how Japan and South Korea did it. They are even conquering the world through their media. Japan in Anime and South Korea through the Hallyu wave. They incorporate Western ideas in their content but they dont try to be white people. They dont speak English and they make themselves look really good. Koreans made themselves look really good in the media that white women began seeing Asian men as attractive in the dating scene and they go in droves in Korea to find a man. Filipinos should learn how to harness their soft power more.
Sadly, The Fiilipino audience doesnt want to watch Filipino RU-vidrs but white RU-vidrs. That's why your podcast isnt growing. Why? It's because of colonization. Filipinos still white worship. And yes, you may speak English but you are still brown and you both are still Filipino. White people are still our gate keepers. We still white worship. A white comic book youtuber can recommend your channel and that will get you subscribers. In the PH, English is synonymous to being classy and elite and Tagalog equals poverty. Why is that? One tip: In your videos, speak Tagalog. Not English. Also in the Ph, Filipinos still buy more comics exported from the US than locally made comics from the Philippines. Why is that? Answer: it's because of colonization. Filipinos still grasp and struggle with a colonial mentality and colorism. You can be an average white man in the US who earns minimum wage but when you go to the Philippines, Filipinos will think you're a millionaire and loaded with money.
