Bahamut is a beast. Garnet is waifu. Vivi is adorable. Zidane story is the saddest, nicest, most hopefully hopeless ever. Beatrix is the very definition of unrelenting loyalty and power. This game will forever be one of if not THE best game ever made.
This is where the Melodies of Life song fully plays with lyrics, and now I am going to be picking apart the lyrics of the song itself: "Alone for a while I've been searching through the dark, For traces of the love you left inside my lonely heart. To weave by picking up the pieces that remain, Melodies of life-love's lost refrain." Again, this makes it really clear that Melodies of Life is a love song, for anyone who still tries to deny it. "Our paths they did cross, though I cannot say just why. We met, we laughed, we held on fast, and then we said goodbye. And who'll hear the echoes of stories never told? Let them ring out loud till they unfold." If by "laughed", you mean that only Zidane did while Garnet spent most of the game whining about her crazy mother and being bland and mopey to the point that she had a big wangsty mute moment, and by "held on fast" you mean that Garnet blew Zidane off the first chance she got when she drugged him in Disk 1 Lindblum and gave him the cold shoulder for most of the game. "In my dearest memories, I see you reaching out to me. Though you're gone, I still believe that you can call out my name." "A voice from the past, joining yours and mine. Adding up the layers of harmony. And so it goes, on and on. Melodies of life, To the sky beyond the flying birds-forever and beyond." "So far and away, see the bird as it flies by. "In your dearest memories, do you remember loving me? Was it fate that brought us close and now leaves me behind?" These lyrics are describing a much better love story than the one we actually got.
I've heard a lot of rumours about a FF9 remake recently and it's gotten me really excited. I really hope it's true because I think this game would be perfect with a reimagined combat system, one that is not so slow as the original. Still this game is probably my favourite in the series and it makes me feel really cozy and nostalgic.
our era games are more better in all aspect. Story telling and gameplay are far better than current game. We only lost the graphical aspect side only. the best era of video game is PS1 and PS2 after that is more generic and casual not heart touching anymore
pls square enix if u read my message pls dont remake this game IF u dont know the background of this game becouse we dont want our childhood memories being destroyed by your poor re imagination of this masterpiece. I gurantee ur new game design team not sure what this game is all about
This is a speedguide for people that are past New Game Plus 7 so yes, it is expected that I Ieveled my stats, past certain item requirements the only thing you need to max asap is HP, why? because the Bed of Chaos Boss can and WILL one hit kill you with its geiser flames attack, as you can see in the video I could withstand one attack because of my high HP
The emulator crashes as soon as I load the game. Didn't change any settings. Just switched out my working plugin for the one here. I'm using pcsxr is that a problem? epsxe just crashes for me.
actually, iv'e notice that the game is shifted toward the bottom of the screen.. there is a black bar on top of the game and i cant see the bottom of it... do you have a solution? thanks!
