Wow... I have always thought adding gold increases boss event meter. To find out that you can just kill mobs is a schock! I will make gold right there thanks to this video (by saving) heh :)
Desolate church always taken, The desert one feel Oasis looking and I would prefers it since I want place that refresh my eyes for long play exhaustion
i just subcribed to your channel cant wait to reach level 80:) im a necromancer cant wait to become a reaper i think it was and start earning gold and 80 lvl
Thanks for subscribing! :D That's a great class - there are tons of ways to make gold and enjoy the time leveling up and building up a great set of gear!
If you're looking for easy to follow farming routes I would look up TaCO for guild wars 2 - it's a tactical overlay, I would try to watch a video on how it works and how to set it up if you're interested.
I suggest checking out the wizards vault where you can earn ascended armor pieces for free from completing tasks! We have a video on the wizards vault but you can find it in game by hitting shift and h at the same time or finding it on the top bar :)
For a few months now I've only been logging in to get my daily reward and log out, because of RL troubles.. This update effectively nuked that approach.. and forces me to actually play to get anything.. which wouldn't be a problem if I had the time..
I'm sorry to hear that, if you do happen to get a day where you end up having 5-10 minutes to spare I find I can usually clear all pve dailies in around that time or quicker most days. I get it's still a lot more effort than the last system and definitely not ideal for all situations - but that is the quickest way I have found and what I ended up switching too because the PVP and WVW options took way too long for everyday.
The rift motivation can search infinitely and will never get used when searching, the motivation however does get used when you use it to Draw the final Boss out of the Rift. A prompt will say "Use a motivation to draw out the Kryptis" which will use the motivation, or "I'll return later" which does not use the motivation. You can see an example of this prompt at about ~3:44 in the video. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions! :)
Personally I like this system better than the old daily log in reward system. I get less FOMO because I don't neccessarily need to log in every single day and this way I can choose my own rewards. This system is very close to what ESO has (I made the migration from ESO to GW2 fairly recently) where doing certain things gives you special currency you can use to buy things from the in-game store without using real money, so I'm already familiar with it
There is a new expansion coming out this month on August 22nd - usually when there are new expansions they have a sale for other expansions so I would keep an eye out around that time for good deals! That's a tough one - if I had to pick one expansion I personally love the mount system and the mounts that come along with the path of fire expansion storyline so that would be my choice and probably my favorite expansion to play through this far. I love the story and the metas of the End of Dragons expansion and I believe if you own EOD you can get the raptor mount still. I also like the end of dragons legendary weapons most. If you like lots of new content with people, the new one might be worth waiting for! So really my only suggestion is look into what you want most - look into the class you prefer to play and what the elite spec is for that class in the expansions and see if any of them seem interesting - then consider if you're more interested in mounts (POF) or in a glider (HOT) and no matter what - there is going to be tons of content!
With raids it's easier to find guild that will teach you the basics of those rather than using LFG since on LFG people rather have already experienced people instead of someone who doesn't know any mechanic at all. (same with End of Dragons strikes and Whisper of Jormag + Boneskinner strikes). On the other hand for fractals you will most often find chill people if it's not challenge mode. Additionally i only partially agree with testing character on PvP since few traits and skills are working differently on that mode (same for WvW). It gives you sort of nice view for basics of certain class or specialization but not entire clear view (however except gear costs it's actually nice to have few classes to switch to). Personally i suggest switching keybindings since some of default ones are not as comfortable as they could be But overall quite good guide for new players
All great points! I personally got into fractals, raids, and strike missions through joining groups on LFG myself but I do agree that it would have been easier and more approachable with a guild guiding me instead of just joining rogue - but it ended up helping me find the right guild to help me learn further! 100% it's better to switch keybinds - but there are so many good in-depth keybind and setting tutorials out there I should have suggested from other creators that are super helpful - I will make sure to mention those next time! Thanks so much for your feedback and comments! Truly appreciate it!
