I agree with 100% of what you said about the Gardyn unit. I had the 2.0 & 3.0 and just sold them recently. Disappointed in many aspects. Looking to buy a Lettuce Grow now. Wondering if they will be coming out with a new version of the farm stand anytime soon? Their Nook is too small for me.
I was QA for Lettuce Grow. When I started with the company Lettuce Grow was my home on the line. I have made and put together thousands of them and then Q.A. I fell in love the second I saw them and so thank to have mine. They are the best and durable.
Had two two year old pepper plants. Dogs murdered the Jalapeno in February. The Ghost made it the full second season. Has some Jalapenos during the winter by a window but the ghost didnt really produce until it got hot. Got plans to save around ten peppers varieties this winter. One of each of course.
Don't know if you will respond but how long does it take for strawberries I just want to know if it is worth my time like do I need a lot do u get a lot or is it I can?
This system is the best on the market. It is so easy to drain and refill when needed. It is actually an RDWC system. I just happen to have extra buckets do I did some with DWC.
Thank you for your helpful videos. I’ve learned a great deal from you. How much would you estimate your electric bill costs to run your basement garden?
Assembly was not bad at all. Take your time, read, and study the few diagrams provided. I will download manual tomorrow. System seems to fit together properly. I assembled this with an ex-coworker and we worked in the medical field and fixed most of our equipment instead of our biomed dept. It heated properly today but I have not enjoyed it yet. Not worried, I've used saunas in the past and look forward to breaking this one in. Facebook has a site which also offers many insights! Enjoy!
Thank you for your comparison videos! I have a Gradyn foe greens I was really looking for a better solution for strawberries so that they could have longer roots. I was between both of these units and your video. Definitely help me decide! Appreciate all of your detailed comparisons.
@@KeithRanly I need to try one. I love Tower Garden, which is now going to be a standard product not under the Juice Plus MLM model any longer, and I heard Lettuce grow modeled the way their works very similar to Tower Garden. I grow pumpkin and things on my tower though so I may grow a lettuce grow and designate it to just lettuce to free up space on my towers. Can you grow celery on it do you know?
Did you make this entire tower? So cool!!! These 2 products are working great for aphids and spider mites in my indoor set up. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W4FaHqaw6io.html
@KeithRanly I’m just now sitting up a lettuce grow nook that has 9 gallons of water in it so that does mean I need 27-45 ml to start or should I only add when refilling?
Hello, how did you move the pepper from the root riot cube? Reason why i ask is that I'm having similar leaf issues with my stripey and all of the other peppers are doing well. Wondering if inherently its the genetics of the plant
I don't even get why the f**** they touch the tent, didn't they test them and make them go only 80 degrees instead of 90 ??? So stupid ^^ . I use hard TIG welding rod (hastelloy) attached to the fram of the box and spreading the corner open so the fan never touches ..
Any updates on when you might have the video on DIY lights for the Lettuce Grow? I want a small Farmstand so badly but after seeing so many posts about the lights corroding/melting, I’m very nervous to get one. The small unit stands about 4.5’ tall. Are there vertical stand lights I could buy to use instead of the LG lights? Would the round shape of the LG get fully lit with vertical stands? I’m not especially handy, so rigging lights from the top sounds challenging for my skill set. 🤣 Thanks in advance for any help.
I’ve been looking at these. I’m under the impression that it’s not that easy to break down if needed to move.? Or if I leave it in the garage, would it be able to go on a moving truck?
I would have installed pads on the bottom of the feet to make it easy to move without damaging the floor. Easy fix. Did you leave enough clearance above?
Can confirm they are junk and do the clicking thing after a short time. Sad everything else they make is dope. Just got the mars hydro circulating fans that just dropped and they stutter and have some fan noise, but NO CLICKING!
