Franz Ferdinand are a Glasgow-based indie rock band formed in 2002. They have released a string of popular singles including Take Me Out, Do You Want To, This Fire, The Dark of the Matinee, and more recently, Right Action and Love Illumination. Their 2005 album You Could Have It So Much Better topped the UK album chart and made the top ten in the Billboard 200. Across their last three studio albums, including Franz Ferdinand and Tonight, they sold over three million copies. We are eagerly awaiting the new album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, released on 26/27th August this year.
Franz Ferdinand is still Alex Kapranos, Bob Hardy, Nick McCarthy, and Paul Thomson. There is still no one else like them.
