Still wondering how the studio made the opening, specifically Otosaka and Tomori holding hands and Tomori also falling through the sky, like usually with anime openings or tv openings they show clips from the episodes but with this they dont, something cool i found out is in that episode where Otosaka is in his depressed stage and is on a train he is watching Angel beats which makes me wonder if the two animes are connected somehow
This show is hands down my favorite anime. Before that the only animes I've seen were Initial D and Wangan Midnight, this is fire on another level. It goes unexpectedly well with Escape the Fate too.

Black Lagoon might not the same larger than life scale of animes like Attack on Titan or Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, but to me this will always be my personal favorite anime of all time. Great characters, great action, and a great mix of the pirate and mafia genres
Same for me. Watched it three times already and I'm going to make it four soon, since last time was more than two years ago. It's not a masterpiece in the same sense of something like FMA, but still it's absolutly great and incredibly entertaining.
If yall love black lagoon, you can try watching gangsta, it's a similar vibe and style while still being very different. There's only like 12 episodes though
