Moonsider theme make me feel nostalgic.... maybe intense wavedash training XD... thank for sharing the combo route i will lab this... fellow diablo jin😂
First try it with characters that have longer legs like Jin, Azucena or Dragunov. Basically after you land a screw, dash up, then input u1+2 the moment they land on the ground. Check the 1:49 combo, i follow this exact timing. The whole point of this timing is to make your laser barely hit their feet. Smaller characters take a bit longer to land on the ground after a screw, but just follow the "landing on the ground timing". But for Xiaoyu it's probably the hardest to land this laser on Basically, after screw. Dash up as much as you can, once opponent lands on ground, input u1+2 laser. bf2,1,df2 is the best tornado/screw move to do this. Try it with less hits first to get used to it
After laser, make sure you're buffering the dash and holding forward. Try doing laser and just dash without doing anything, you'll notice you actually have a lot of time to input ws3
@@Ruuge27 does this work because you need to hit the laser at a specific angle (at their feet)? I’m starting to realize that maybe I try to laser too early
I think with certain moves you can buffer 2 forward inputs before you recovers from the move, I noticed it in Claudio's B3 in T7, not sure if it's works the same still, haven't played Claudio in T8 much, but I can check it out later. Basically you input your first forward right after you input the B3, then the second one the moment the B3 hits, and then the third one is either 1 frame before you recovers or on the exact frame you recovered, can't remember, and the iWR2 should work, it was like a rythm game lol.
Damn, thanks for the info i didn't know about that T7 stuff. I feel like the method i showed is the same as that, cause the running animation comes out immediately after your move recovers.
For 0:28, apparently if you bind a button to 3+4 and do (Hold 3, f,n,d,df,n,3+4). You will never get a hellsweep input and you'll be able to do ws3 much faster and easier. For 2:06, hit EWGF as early as possible then dash ws3. Idk why i showed the harder and inconsistent way 😅
Great video. At the combo around 3:30 you can also do DF3,2,4 instead of 1,1,2 for slightly more wall carry, a bit hard to land tho(Or did you cover it, maybe I missed it).
This is cool but it's mostly for offensive based pressure that can be interrupted. I think the the forward buffer then double tap forward works universally especially in neutral.
I recommend these, Laser to ws3 or other moves (1:19) / 3,1 to ws3 (2:34) / (3:17) But do only 1 ws3 then bf2,1,df2 / (3:45) Good for CH b4 Always keep 2 staple combos: One combo that you can always 100% do, and another combo that's harder but more damage You can try to staple the EWGF combo (1:49) once you're comfortable with the ones i mentioned, but still keep another easy EWGF combo in case
@@Ruuge27 hopefully they don’t buff him too much, i like that he’s not top tier, but i think its obvious because he was one of the best characters at launch, make him have a better poke and maybe some moves less unsafe and im happy
@@OctopusH2O He was only good because of his heatsmash. He was only the best because people didn't understand how to counter him. If you returned his same stuff as before he would still not be top 5. Maybe close to top 10, but not top 10.
You can evade with Frame-Perfect Ground-Rolls (B4,D1+2,MC3 might still hit, depedent on axis) as like Bob's uf233+4 wallender, you cannot just buffer or mash out.
The second forward input can be buffered when close to recovery, not after recovery. 0:20 First forward after the attack hits, then second forward close to recovery to buffer a dash. For instant while-running: (After attack hits) forward, (Close to recovery) forward forward and hold.
Just found out that after uf3, b4 will miss if they sideroll Adjustment: After hellsweep, quickly do a small side step right then uf3, b4 should hit both side rolls (left side roll will sometimes escape if hellsweep doesn't hit close enough or if you side stepped too much) If already off-axis: side step more to that same side
@@Zeridium Only at the wall. When on-axis always do a small side step right then uf3. When off-axis, side step to that same side. (Off-axis left → side step left) (Off-axis right → side step right) This is only if you want to do b4, if you want to use ff2 or ewgf for combo then don't need to side step. Hope this explanation is clear, if you try it out you'll see what i mean
