What made you go from the remark single exit to the dual cans?? Asking because I originally wanted the single exit, but went with the dual canisters instead because I didn’t want to risk hating it. But now I’m wishing I went single exit first. So curious as to your take on it and why you swapped!
Nice setup! I have the Rae dual exit quad-tip catback with the Rae I-pipe.. I have the I-pipe, just waiting for the catback to arrive, but should be arriving soon(ish). I am in Batch #2 for the CBE's, which are going out very soon. Anyhow, looking forward to getting it all installed! Bought a cheap Noble axleback to make a little noise while I wait.. which doesn't sound too bad tbh!
@@wrxtuans I got the resonated version. There are 2 locals here that have the Rae CBE, one resonated and the other non-resonated. The resonated CBE had a cleaner tone and cuts out some of the 'rasp' that the non-resonated version had. Both sound great with no difference in how loud they were.. resonated just had a cleaner sound that stood out for me. 🤘🤘
Thanks for the video. Did you put a washer on the inside/top of the diffuser for the two center bolts too, or just the outer ones (that you showed a close-up of)?
I think I got the same ones. I returned them. Going from a EJ motor to the FA24 it’s tough to find any decent axle back. The drone was terrible for me. Sounds so dang ricey. I plan on saving up for the r400
I’m putting my single exit on tomorrow! I got the tomei. How are you liking that wing? I was thinking about getting that one instead of the paint matched sti one. I think it would look cool with ISM
I just bought a '21 WRX and I love the style of the ADRO AT-R wings and this seems like a perfect alternative. I'd like to know if you think it would fit the VA models. I was also wondering about how it is fixed to the trunk, I believe some kits come with a backing plate to add stability from the inside of the trunk, or is yours fixed directly to the sheet metal?
I would recommend a backing plate or any type of support inside since the wing itself is heavy and can move under high speeds ! Depends on the trunk size.. va and vb trunks are fairly similar so it should fit. If anything , itll be slightly off but you can get creative with it &!
As a 2016 sti owner and 06 wrx . I didn’t like these at first but now they really starting to get to me. Need a rear body kit tho to make the back end loook good and I stand on that
is it better to prop the car up on the rhino ramp on the driver or passenger side to get all the oil out? Saw someone else put it on the driver side, just wondering :)
What's your exhaust setup? When I got the Dmann OTS tune about 6 months ago I asked if I can get the burble add-on they said only with a custom tune. I'm going to reach back out and see what they say now
Im currently running the remark non resonated mid pipe with boso axle backs ! On his website he kinda specifies how its more of a rev hang delete than a “burble tune” . I think if you really want a true burble tune you would have to get a custom tune . If you dona rev hang delete, he should be able to just update ur map
Niiiice. I got a Pro-Tune from Drunkmann (Dmann) for my 2016 Hyperblue STi last year and so far, so good. He put a burble tune on mines as well but haven't used it yet because I heard I would need to run an aftermarket downpipe so I won't ruin the cat. Not sure the case with the VB WRX.
hmm this is very insightful. I was told from him that I should be okay to run the “burble tune” with all the components I had at the moment. Possibly is different from the STI. Currently just running the regular etune and then flashing the burble when there’s car meets haha
it runs beautifully. linear power from dman so the power is really smooth and controlled. Ets intake is godlike haha it makes a difference and sounds so different too
