You are awesome and so detailed you remind me myself I do things, very detailed and you're very comical how to restore step by step without saying not one word. You're awesome!
PU! Do you smell deep inside the shoe before buying to restore? Just want to know what you use for the inside if the prior owner had sweaty and funky feet.
I had a brand new pair of black/amaretto and walked into a deep puddle/pothole full of water by mistake. I'm going try to bring them back to life with this. Thanks so much! Can I use a black shoe polish on them or should I keep to a creme after using saddle soap?
Chuck them in the shower, scrub them and dry. Rub in saddle soap and brush them. They come up like new. I treat my Sperry's hard, I hike in them, in the Philippines but I still get 4 years out of them before I have to throw. I've got one pair I keep for best for about 10 years now; they are pristine. I wash and saddle soap them after every time I wear them. Sperry's are amazing shoes.
Cool video but you could have saved yourself a lot of time by washing these in a tub of water or a sink and having the same outcome and maybe even have shrunk The leather further to diminish the bending (breaks).
Excellent video..! Could you explain to me why did you use Saphir creme delicate and renovateur for the same cleaner shows..? What's the diferents betwin Saphir creme delicate and renovateur?
Ola. Ficou otimo.gostei. camurça e suede sao os mais difíceis de limpar. Aqui no Brazil a gente lava embaixo d aTorneira.
Dude Wow if I'm broke and can't afford another pair I would do exactly what you are doing. But if you go to work for few hours you can afford to buy a new pair then doing this 3rd world country repairs. Thanks but No Thanks
I'm a suburban DC lawyer for almost 30 years. I try to maintain my nice items, including my shoes. I clean, condition and then polish. Regularly. I do my own bicycle maintenance too. This is not a third world activity; it's an upper class activity - in any country. Your shoes are like your friends...get good ones and treat 'em right.
Now this is just a huge guess, but I'm assuming he used the saddle soap he showed himself holding onto before he started cleaning? As far as the brushes, any small amount of googling will reveal those mysteries to you
