Come vestivano male i soprani di allora...pettinate ancora peggio..la Olivero sembra una parrucchiera di provincia, la cassiera di un bar ...la Callas aveva imparato a presentarsi ad un pubblico diversamente.

A Magda Olivero cantando opera uno ya la conoce, de las mejores sopranos de su tiempo y de la historia...pero Claudio Villa, excelente, mis respetos a este cantante, que voz hermosa y que bien cantaba
Claudio Villa, un tenor lírico ligero NUNCA dedicó su carrera al bel canto. En este momento, siendo muy jóven, hizo esta grabación con la gran Magda. Fue muy bueno y reconocido en la canción italiana. En esta ocasión ejerce de tenor "de gracia" de forma ocasional. No es lo suyo. Pero su afinada voz y su estética acústica resultan muy agradables, muy bonitos. Al final, es lo importante.
Sí, conocía ya a Claudio Villa cantando canciones populares como Granada, canciones romanas, fiorentinas y napolitanas, pero nunca ópera. Por lo que escuché en este video podría haber sido tranquilamente un tenore di grazia de los buenos, pero habrá elegido cantar canciones populares como muchos otros cantantes populares con voces de calidad, sobretodo de esa epoca. Hoy día los cantantes populares ya no usan la tecnica de bel canto italiana...
Magda gave us great music in so many roles with many tenors. This is not a well known tenor but this performance brings me to tears. He has a beautiful voice so fitting for this music . What a wonderful performance. Seeing this TV performance adds to it.
