My channel is about popular destinations me & my husband ( Ramonade travels) have visited around the world, weekend escapes, local attractions in California. Being foodie lovers, my posts features good places to eat; as well as themed events to celebrate holidays and special occasions for a unique & memorable experience. My ultimate goal is give ideas and/or inspire where you can go to travel and do to celebrate a special occasion, milestone events and family reunion. Bottom line, enjoy life to the fullest.
A short staycation for change of scenery, culinary journey, some sightseeing is always fun and revitalizing. Love going to Palm Springs for it's a short drive from our place in Glendora, a one and a half hour. Requires not much planning and chance to stay at Kimpton Rowan. For many years, every time we go to Palm Springs we stay at Hyatt, other times at Holiday Inn Express. Kimpton Rowan is conveniently located in center of downtown, nice ambience and comfortable beds, plus a rooftop pool. Highly recommend this place.
A unique, delicious sandwich you’ll find only in Gabino Creperie. Their sandwich is wrapped in crispy, flavorful crepe filled with your choice of buffalo chicken, pesto chicken, BBQ chicken, Caesar Chicken, Turkey, etc. filled with lettuce, tomatoes, onion and special sauce. They also serve some salads. It’s a gem, tiny place but definitely worth looking for if you are in Palm Spring.
Sunrise, Sunset are two of the most amazing times of the day. Personally, I prefer sunset for I find fascinating the various shades of orange as the sun goes down, lined with hues of blue aqua shade. It is so romantic and magical when it finally gets dark and the sun goes out of sight.
Thank you so much po Tita Ade for making this wonderful video for my 1st birthday po. My favorite are the pictures from our first reunion po. Thank you po for the wonderful experience. I love you po and I miss you both po Tita Ade and Tito Mon - CJ 😍😍😍♥️♥️
La Quinta Resort located in Coachella Valley in CA is truly an amazing place. Huge, beautiful, well maintained landscaping & floral gardens. With Spanish touches in impressive fountains, architecture of buildings and casitas...it gives a Mediterranean feel. With 41 pools scattered throughout, i don't see any pool being crowded and no need to fight for lounges. I hope even during peak season for none of them were during our recent visit the last week of July, 2025. Of course, the triple digit temp limited enjoying the outdoors. Hence, we plan to come back in fall/winter season.

hello, i'm sorry i do not know for we did not look into it. i suggest email the property directly to find out. unless it is a deal breaker for you i highly recommend the resort, great food & lots of options, plenty of entertainment and beautiful white sand Maroma beach. in fact, we are going back this coming december....happy travels.
What time of year did you stay? We're considering it but worried that it had a lot of the same issues as the Hilton all inclusive like the AC going out and crowds.
This is one of the best birthday celebration we have attended for it ticked all the boxes. Great food, ambience, entertainment, dancing. The evening was filled with so much love, joy, gratitude.
Our recent trip to Los Cabos with my family was truly wonderful filled with wonderful moments, good eats, laughter, relaxing. Arriving late in the afternoon, we spent one night at Hyatt Place then transferred to Hacienda Del Mar Los Cabos. It was truly a nice celebration of my birthday, and opportunity to bond amidst the beautiful surroundings with delicious culinary delights as the highlight!
Hi Stacey, thanks for your comments. This resort is one of our favorites. What is it like in August? Too hot, do you get some rains? We usually go between Dec to April. Enjoy Maroma….
@@ramonadetravels last year was our first time. We loved it so much going again in August making our stay a little longer. Weather was nice n warm but we like warm as we are from Florida
There is so much to love about this resort. Stunning ocean views from almost everywhere: main lobby, various pools and restaurants. Delicious foods from all culinary venues. Costs are pricey so highly recommend to book all inclusive package. Well maintained verdant greens, tropical, Mediterranean ambience. You just have to stay here, I promised you won’t be disappointed, except the lack of night entertainment.
Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun is a perfect place for vacation where you are guaranteed to have fun, relaxing and enjoyable experience. The resort provides Aii Inclusive Dining & Drinks and offer both Ala carte & casual…all gourmet, tasty and good foods. Activities and entertainment galore. A stunning crystalline white sand beach! Excellent staff as a bonus.
A nice romantic evening that makes everyone in the audience feel the LOVE. The music provided by the violinist & guitarist duet, with candles to illuminate their stage sets the lovely mood.
Secrets Maroma All Inclusive provides excellent dining options. There are five Ala Carte restaurants features world cuisines for dinner: Bordeaux (French), Portofino (Italian) Himitsu (Asian Fusion) & Teppanyaki, El Patio (Mexican) Oceana Seafood. There are casual dining; World Cafe Buffet for breakfast and lunch, Seafood Seaside, Barefoot Grill and others exclusive for Preferred VIP guests. You'll never get hungry for there is Coco Cafe open 24/7 for hot beverages (coffee, latte, expresso, etc), pastries, sandwiches, salads and desserts. Beverages, alcoholic and non alcoholic, cocktails are also included available in several bars and at any if the restaurants. Incredible, amazing, delicious foods!
Truly a worthwhile indulgence for after spending time at hydromassage pool, steam sauna and our massage...all our stress, body aches melt away and we emerged relaxed, invigorated and rejuvenated!
We are glad we decided to include a stop at Puerto Morelos even for just a day. It is a nice interesting town and good snorkeling place, good choices for seafoods.
We are hooked on upscale All Inclusive Resorts since we went to Hyatt Ziva Cancun couple years ago. Next we tried was Impression Secrets Moxche in Playa Del Carmen last year in December. Then the Hilton Cancun All Inclusive & Secrets Maroma Riviera Maya just last April. love them all, but our favorite is Impression Secrets Moxche, then Secrets Maroma...or could be a toss between these 2.
Thanks Melen! FYI, I did all the landscaping & designs. Selection of plants, shrubs and removal of portion of lawns & replacing them with rubber mulch and rocks few years back upon removal of a huge big tree in our front yard. It is rewarding to see the fruits of my labor.
The Camp in Costa Mesa is a fun place to visit. It has collections of small unique shops, restaurants, cafe and bakery. It is dotted with many creative artsy decorations.
Dancing is a fun activity for everyone, both genders, young and old . Once you get it started, it is a nice ice breaker for any gathering and make any events enjoyable plus a nice workout.
