This channel is for helping by showing all the little tricks i learned from traveling and working on communication lines . i love learning i love what i do, and anyway i can help someone or they can help me be a better cable guy is a win win. My journey starts in Oregon all the way to south Florida and now in the great country of Texas.
@@Gassyuzden all depends what part or the country u are in. If u are a contractor fully insured and all equipment seen it as low as .80 cents for strand and fiber and anchors composite. For spectrum they argue that they give you volume hence the low rates. Seen it as high as 3.40 in Oregon composite with anchors and tree trimming but they state of oregon will tax u and you need more paperwork to operate..
Little hint tie a string on your wire sock to the eye. Then tape over the string. When you want to take it off just pull the string from the loose end to the eye and it cuts thru the tape .
I hear ya about getting burnt out. 25yrs this year. That old J lasher is what I started using. We use Apollo lashers now. They will lash upside down, sideways. Stay safe
Appreciate this guy, been working for my dad’s telecom company since I was thirteen and I’m graduating this year. Been tryna do the best work I possibly can and because of you I’m gonna start recording this summer.
What in the rat, wormy, hack ass shit did I just watch? The first thing you should do is check your clamp. The mule tape lashing machine pull rope is hack ass shit as well. If you run a company get your stuff straight. From your accent you should be doing this in Tijuana instead of the United States. Take this crap elsewhere.
Damn bro wish you were in Georgia. Been going back and forth between this and high voltage but seems to be really hard to get on with the high voltage guys. But all my background is in electrical and general construction. But thanks for sharing your background and story. Inspirational hearing you having your own thing now for sure.
Thank you. I definitely love what i do, im able to provide for my family so i feel very blessed. Like i said, it was not easy at all. Tho what is. If u love what you do go for it, switch gears and lock in. I would look for a contractor in your line of work. Union I heard is not easy what so ever.
If your are already doing communication work, go production you cant miss. Find an underground company and offer your services. They are the best people to work for.
A lot of props starting your own utility company. I’ve been a lineman for 25yrs. Worked all over the state of California. Lead crews on all the major fires thru out the state. Trained over 40 apprentices. Right now foreman of a 30man crew. If there’s ever anything you need help with or even prayer hit me up.
Hey there, you should make a video of how you started your company & what are your predictions for the Aerial demand in the next 10 years. Keep up the good work & the videos !
