I reckon it can be a crapshoot on the jack shafted bikes. I myself fabricated a system together after acquiring a motorized bike from my brother. It has the same sick bike parts kit that this kid has on his bike and coincidentally, I got this bike basically the same time you posted this video. Only building one bike before, a 4 stroker on a specialized frame, way back in 2012, some of the issues I've dealt with on the current whip has worked me into a man of marveling engineering capabilities. Hopefully you are still promoting this hobby. I love the build you've done and admire you're out of box thinking. It's a lot of work to keep a jack shafted bike truly dependable, if that is even a possibility. My bike has gone through several phases of development. And, I have made it somewhat reliable through her evolution considering it a test bed not only mechanically, but of my patience, sanity and sometimes lack of involvement. Regardless, hopefully you've gotten your head on straight and you've worked into even more interesting builds. Good job!
Is it possible you have the crank gears back words 🤔 as I don't see them sending out a kit that don't alone off the jack shaft to the peddle crank gear and the hole thing of that plastic holding your chain in place so it don't throw the chain sounds like everything is a little out of line but hey who am I to judge I've had my fair share of redneck engineering
It would be really easy for one of these companies to make them have a 2 speed gear box. All you need is a planetary gear set with a clutch to lock it into high gear.
How are you..congrats on this build..i bought a chineses kit a while back and just couldnt get it to run no matter how much i tinkered with it..very impressed..just bought a phantom 85 for my shwinn and cant wait to install it and get back into it..does this bike still run? What have u been up to?. Cheers and be safe
How did you manage to connect the hoses for the supercharger bypass valve and to the supercharger bypass solenoid. I tried to s/c a 2001 xterra n/a but couldn’t figure out where to connect them
Ohh so a shift kit is how you get the power to the pedals can this give it a higher top speed? Do the peddles spin fast with it or can you keep them still ?
Is this the vg35?? Where did you get the super charger !? I have an 03 pathfinder er with 260kms No rust Pretty damn clean Want to do soemthing like this
I got that same better sound out of just doing the stock air box resonater delete. Took just the big resonater out of the drivers fender. I left the other little one on for now. Also running a k&n box filter, dont think that matyers though. Id be running a regular wix filter but the k&n rubber part is thicker and actually seals in the box.(the factory boxs tend to not clamp the best and they bow and distort in the middle (mine did)
Dude you got the engine in their sideways! You got that all cockeyed the engine needs to be straight readjust clamps motor mounts! The drive chain are on a bind!
I had one of these on mine and it was just the finickiest thing I ever experienced. I finally tossed it after riding down the road at about 40 the chain on the jackshaft decided to explode
it just looks over thought but thats just me. the star thats drawn with all the rectangular lines is easier to to draw than the other one but more complicated from the looks of it lol if that makes any sense at all.i retract this statement well thought out great job
I think I've seen a few ppl use like a banjo plate to mount the tensioners on for a cleaner look but whatever works for you is all it has to be! these engine kits are always fiddly and sometimes fussy but you get a good idea what they need after the first one you do
Seeing this monstrosity, if I ever buy one of these kits, it's gonna go with a 3 or 5 gears within the rear hub, so it's not these tiny little chain that takes all the torque.
