Hello, my name is Ricky Nowis. A trainspotter from Scarborough North Yorkshire although born and bread in Harrogate. This channel brings you HD videos of outings to different locations throughout the North at the moment. The annual holiday's each year and trips to new locations.
I have a learning disability known as low level autisum which effects my learning skills but everyday I am learning and developing new skills. Just because I am different doesn't mean. Please don't judge me on this as there are millions of people who have learning disabilities. I am keen to make new friends and reunite with the long time friends.
Most of the videos of Real Train Time captions of the workings, time and unit or locomotive numbers. I also use Open Train Times as well which is useful after more than 7 days. The upload days will be some Wednessay's but mostly Sunday's.
Thank you for showing your support and will hopefully see you all soon.
Yeah, it does happen with ScotRail with 158 and 170 combo, even Northern has started doing it now on Sundays. There'll be a class 158 that'll run between Scarborough and Hull. At Hull, the class 158 will couple onto a class 170 to run express to Sheffield. Many thanks Arnold :-)
This was a great day! Great shots there too, Ricky. Shame I didn't bump into you at Oxenhope but if you saw some mad looking person holding up a tripod above the crowds that wouldve been me 😅
Nice video! I like details about head code, train route and time and also the vehicle numbers. Last but not least: the date. So keep doing like this. So keep upload videos with such details please.
Thank you for sharing your day in Birmingham Ricky. My favourite station was Stourbridge Junction. I like the class 139s, they're quirky little railbuses. 😊🚂
Not on this day unfortunately. ASELF Union had an overtime ban for drivers which resulted in a revised and reduced services by Chiltern Railways. Still, at least they kept trains running to London :-)
I didn’t know Scarborough bound trains could use the Hull bound platform! Something wrong with the opposite side? Not sure what the platform numbers are now. Used to be 4, 5 and 6; the latter being the bay.
Yep, they can do if the signal wanted them to do so. I believe they were carrying out works on the footbridge hence for the temporary footbridge. Also, makes it easier for those with pushchairs and wheelchairs as there are no lifts here. They would've used the foot crossing with station staff assisting :-)
The frequent Bubble as well. It's a nice station and good noteables of class 172's. Also, the former London Overground class 172's. They do suit the West Midlands Railway livery and branding well :-)
It is, managed to get both sides of the station in this time. Totally worth it. I hope you don't mind me asking, did you catch a ride on 350404 (I think) it was from New Street?
Ah the 350/2, fair enough. Well, they've had their first class removed and all standard class now. To be fair, they are good for commuter and stopper services runs now :-)
