The nightmare is getting worse and I have no idea how and where to find welfare rights support. I tried my local Citizen's Advice Bureau when I had to go to an appeal when I was unfairly dismissed, and they were absolutely useless.
Easiest way to deal with an assessment is to ask for it to be recorded. I have been involved in multiple assessments over last 16 years. One assessment went to tribunal because the assessor lied and said I presented no evidence. The DWP wanted my PIP stopped because of the claim their was no evidence to support my claims. I pushed for tribunal and 3 days before the hearing, they conceded because the recording documented I offered the evidence but they refused to either look at it or acknowledge it.
when i applied for pip i got in touch with citizens advice and they helped me fill my form out and ii had more than enough points to get both parts of pip so i sent my form then got my phone assesment and ended up with nothing because they are bastards and dont care about your disability unless you have less than 12 months to live or be a migrant to qualify
Before doing this, I unplugged everything- Roku, WiFi, tv. Waited a few minutes then plugged everything back into their proper devices. This worked for me and didn’t have to try this video’s instructions.
I was told year to go to the get pip because of copd and other problems now I have a heart problem I see cardiologist 16 July but I see people who have pip get kicked off and stopped off pip
I will definitely be refused I was too honest. Just because I can walk doesn't mean I struggled to get to that point of being able to function better. And yes very very painful days and then another dull weakness pain ..it's always there in every bone no matter what I do and some bloody horrible mornings and nights than others .The pain is horrendous and my doctor said I can't be on inflammatory long term cos of kidney damage but other than that I'm living off painkillers everyday so in the long term they will do harm anyway..along with that im.buying pain creams and supports.
The question I ask is time n again we r fleeced, complain about it n do nothing. At wat point do we say enough is enough. We elect these people 2 serve us n then watch them fill their own respective bank accounts. It is time 2 stop complaining and do something 2 stop this.
You don’t pay tax on your state pension directly prior to having it paid into your bank account What the government does if you have a private work related pension they tax that by 20 to account for your state pension So indirectly they do
Another scam to rape taxpayers of hard earned cash whilst scroungers who have never worked nor want defraud the state. Benefits were meant as a safety nightmare not a career choice.
My husband worked hard all his life age 79 this year and still paying tax what a country some people never worked in there life's. Even when you die your hit or your children are with inheritance tax when you're dead even when your dead the government are still taking your hard earned money .There like Highwaymen.
The music is too much and the background video is odd. Both put together made it very difficult to follow this video. It works be helpful if you could think about your audience when putting a video such as this together. We don't need the music or the video - we need the information.
Take someone with you if you can, cos they question you in a way that is confusing and done deliberately. Now, they are incentives for them to get you off the benefits, they may try and trap you with the questions. Thecsame questions only reworded. They have been receiving training from a psychological specialist the field of torture to disorientant the claimant. Ask for a recording always, they will hate that, and will say it will take longer, do it. Its your right. Also, be very very careful if you have joined any fb disability groups. Dwp has infiltrated most, and collect data on you. Ensure your fb is locked down and posts are kept private. Lastly, if you have a WEA or disability support group who can help you attend or fill in forms use them, if you say you get anxious about forms, this helps back up your claim.
The government gave us a increase in april without increasing the £12.570...with that i am now paying TAX on the extra they gave me ....having just turned 70 ,the car insurance went up along with every thing else ,,,, like most of the posts here i started work at 15 and also served in the RAF for 5 years plus 43 years at a builders merchant`s ... and trying to find a NHS DENTIST 😢😢😢😢
I think they already look into our bank accounts. This country has gone to s**t ever since they privatised everything and sold British Instiutions and companies to wealthy foreigners. London is not even 'England' anymore. Regulators like Ofgem and Ofwat no longer do effective jobs neither. The NHS is trying to move people to private health care. The waiting lists will never shorten and get only worse. Money is all now, as we slowly morph into a United States' style of extreme capitalism.
Its better to sit on your arse all your life and collect benefits. Then retire stress free in your council house that gets passed on to your kids who also claim benefits !! NO ANGRY BOSS TO DEAL WITH NO GETTING UP EARLY AND HOME LATE NO STRESS OF STAYING EMPLOYED OR CHANGING JOB
My wife and I used to receive Family Credit but that finished and we were told to apply for UC. During the process my wife declined to finish applying due to the assessment process and the stress involved. While on family credit the award covered her disability and inability to work. UC is too complicated, a person already receiving a benefit with the extra unable to work element should automatically qualify on any new benefits applied for. A disability preventing a person from working doesn’t go away when new or amended benefits are implemented.
I was just honest and thought i wouldn't get help .after seeing vids i was thinking no chance. I had one assesor call with two listening in. Took 8 weeks start claim to payment i guess just be honest 🤷
The whole thing is a complete nightmare. It is not realistic. It regularly finds people fit for work when they are hardly even fit to fill in the forms and attend the interviews that they torture people with. I applied for thousands of Jobs without any real confidence of getting even to an interview. When I did get an interview for the most basic of Jobs, I never got the job. I started work as a charity volunteer and eventually after years they took me on as a paid worker, but then the boss decided that she wanted someone younger instead of me. So she started talking about politics and took exception to my views and accused me of hate speech. Because we only had three paid staff, she was accuser, judge and jury, but I understood that I would get to put my case to the board of trustees that are also supposed to have some oversight. When I finally came to the meeting with the "board" only one of them was there and he took my boss's side in everything. So I was more depressed and labelled for hate speech. My health also went downhill because the stress of being accused and suspended gave me blood pressure that resulted in a problem with my vision - so I could hardly read the letters and fill in any forms. The Citizens Advice were also USELESS. No one came along to any of the meetings so I was stuck with my accuser and her friend the board member and they labelled me and fired me. Because my wife was working we survived on her Family Tax Credits. Well, not the children are adult so we first got moved to ordinary working tax credits and now we have been shunted to Universal Credit. I am suffering chronic depression and anxiety and I have all kinds of mental difficulties with inability to cope with the stress, low self esteem that is made worse by the idea that i can't even claim benefits properly, and the stress makes my memory terrible and i forget almost everything that I don't find essential and sometimes things that are essential for daily living let alone searching for and getting ready for work.
