Very nice flight. I flew into KPAN Payson, AZ ($100 breakfast) last week in my Dakota with a high Density Altitude. I was very cautious with weight and fuel. Thank you for calling out your settings. “See ya!” lol
Beautiful video , great views , wow the landscape is amazing , vast wide open land . Thats a really well equipped dakota . I,m a renter in NY and love going on the $100 burger flights , the burger is fuel for the body , the flying is fuel for the soul .. safe skies ..

Another excellent video even when equipment is uncooperative. Such a nice trip and having your wife along to enjoy a “bucket list” adventure is priceless. Nice flight and wonderful place to visit - now to put that on my list as well. -
Sometimes I will let the autopilot fly the approach down pretty low,only so I can verify not only if it is working correctly,but to keep myself familiar with the power settings. I think being proficient at both ways is good. Thank you for watching my videos.
Ah man ya beat me to it…. We plan on making go that trip ourselves later this year!!! Ya need to upgrade to DJI cameras 😜🤪 Sorry…I make the best Fudge !!!
Awwww man I'm jealous! Mackinac is on my bucket list. Two summers ago we flew from Boca Raton (where I'm based) up to Charleston SC and from there worked our way Westward, taking our time, stopping and visiting friends and family along the way. Our 'goals' were to land at bucket list Sonoma AZ, and then on to Catalina. We made the landing in Sonoma (spectacular!) We spent three extra days in San Diego than we had initiall planned while waiting on VFR at Catalina. Never happened. The weather there was low IFR the whole week and so eventually we gave up and headed back to Florida. We had planned this summer on flying up to Mackinac but weather/wife changed our plans. Maybe next summer. I really enjoy your videos so thanks for taking the time to film, edit, and post. Also tell your *girlfriend that the kiss at 50:00 was super sweet too and made my wife say "Aaaaaaaaaah how sweet". See ya' in the pattern! Joe-
Thanks for the nice comment Joe, the weather around Mackinac Island can be difficult to say the least,we got a lucky break so I took advantage of it. I did helicopter training into Boca Raton for my night missions, most of my training was out of Lantana,but that was about 20 years ago.
Another great flight . Really shows the capabilities of the Dakota too. I too am looking into the ElectroAir Mag replacement - pretty costly. Hope Zack enjoyed his first flight -
Recently found your channel looking for PA28-235/236 content as I am a newer private pilot with all my time in PA28-181s. The Dakota is my dream plane and goal to fly next. Keep up the content and just ignore the keyboard warriors that have nothing better to do. Looking forward to future videos, safe flying!

Love your Dakota and really enjoy your flight videos. I just replaced the 'dual-magneto' on my Dakota with dual eclectronic ignitions from Electroair. Noticeable power increase and the peace of mind of not having that mag (I kid with people that the mag-design was so good and popular that they quit making it lol). Any way it was pricy but hey...can't take it with me and I blow all my money on my airplane! sickness is real... keep up the cool flight vids👊

Thanks for taking us along on this most recent trip. I for one enjoy your commentary, explanations of equipment, and appreciate the amount of time and work you put into making these videos. The content and discussion is like having folks that hang around the hanger after a nice flight and get to talk about their flight experiences, equipment etc. - Keep up the great work !!! BTW, the review of the MYGOFLIGHT and ipad mini was excellent - time for me to go shopping as well.
