Hello, my dad recently purchased a laser and im getting into it as well. Love the deaign on this. Quick question, i can see the cut and clean phase as its engraving but when the laser is going over and making it completely like grey what ia that pass called or what is it doing? Sorry like i said very new only done a few things on my dad's laser but interested in learning more. Thanks for your time. He has a fiber laser as well not sure exactly what specs but has a variety of lenses available and he uses the lightburn software.
Hello, I ran across your video and it's the only one I have found with autofocus and Ezcad3. That's what I'm using. I don't understand the part around the 1:31 section of your video where you state the fixture offset. How do you calculate that to get 65? Thanks!

I need your advice. Which 50W fiber laser is better for cutting and engraving silver sheets: JPT or Raycus, or is there no significant difference for silver? Also, what lenses are preferable: a 110 x 110 mm lens or a lens with a smaller working area? Thanks for your answer.
Hi, sorry for just saw your comments, you can use 100x100mm lens, 70x70mm also is fine. For cutting, silver, no significant difference between Raycus or JPT. When laser source has problem, JPT brand has monitor software and we can confirm if that is laser source problem.
I used your settings on 2mm brass and got to the point that I could see it coming through a little after about two hours. It didn't cut through all the way and, couldn't get it to pop out. How long did this take you and what watt laser are you using ? I have a 50 watt JPT
My 80-C JPT, 300mm lens, perfect cut in letters on the edge of a penny ! .002" linewidth ! Requires incidence of less than 22 and 1/2° for repeatability. Been in Laser since 1977.
hi I have a problem. new 50w laser. I installed the drivers for windows. then I open ezdca2 and when I press the light button, ready comes out and the program freezes. if I turn off the laser the program unlocks. plus it doesn't give me the red light figure or even marking. can you help me thanks.
