Currently I am a 23 year old freelance sportfishing mate living abroad in Costa Rica. Im sponsored by Trollpro and Squidnation for fishing for blue marlin and making videos doing it. Ive been here collectively for about 11 years now and have been filming for the past 3 or 4 years. If its the summer time I usually make my way to the east coast to Carteret County in North Carolina where I used to live as a kid. Enjoy my videos and PLEASE SHARE!!
Nothing but mad respect, admiration and a touch of jealousy heading your way from the states to all my fellow deckeys. Takes a pair of steel to dominate the leader when the big girls at the door.
In Queensland you can possess no more than 7 of any coral trout species, 20 of any reef fish. But its likely this dude did the filming for more than 1 day and processed or used/shared what he had
How about some respect for the fish you apparently enjoy catching. Stop busting the f***ing leaders! I'm sure you know how to do it properly so I will not get into that here. This is a B.S. "instructional video" given how you release the fish.
Henry Riggs-Miller when you catch 83 in a day you dont have time to pussyfoot.. bottom line is if you dont want to hurt em dont fish for em. Go talk shit to some longliners and quit being a hater because you live in indiana somewhere with a wife and some shithead kids that hate you. Go ahead and renew your subsciption to marlin magazine and get yourself a new salt life sticker for your hundai sonata.
Hey Garrett, sounds like you have some anger management issues to deal with. I don't live in Indiana. I live in Seychelles (do you know where that is?) I not only read Marlin Magazine I am in it. Look at the Oct 2017 issue. Marlin Mag was out here fishing with me. It's the feature travel article in the issue. I have caught over 1000 billfish, have won over 20 tournaments in Central and South America. I am the ambassador for TBF in the Indian Ocean. You have the wrong image of the person who wrote to you. I haven't caught 83 sails in a day but have caught over 60 several times and more than 30 countless times in Guatemala and Cost Rica. Ask around buddy. I am a damn good angler. We always take the time to release the fish properly. One thing is holding the leader tight and having the snell pop. Another thing is grabbing a handful of leader and yanking hard as the deckhand does in the video. We are on the same team buddy. I also love fishing and hate longliners. But have some respect for the fish we all love. What's the point of releasing the fish if you are going to harm it next to the boat. By the way, I have a wonderful wife, two lovely kids, and am surrounded by love on a daily basis. I am very fortunate. It sounds like something is missing in your life. Good luck out there. I hope you find whatever it is that may bring some love and joy to your life. Peace!
Henry Riggs-Miller yes sir very well aware of the Seychelles and its geographical location. I can imagine when fishings slow and theres not much going on that you troll everyone elses youtube videos and tell them how to do their jobs to pass the time. Till then have fun catching GT's and watching my videos wishing you were catching billfish.
Local fisherman, these guys are fishing around FADS usually so the understanding is you can have your fun but they to are coming to try and get in on the action! Always root for the Marlin to get away but the local guys will usually get a gaff if them easily.
Awesome video! What are the locals following you around for? I saw a video of some dudes about to release a rat blue when out of nowhere some locals come up and gaff it.
Hey man my name is Stephen I just started watching your videos and all I can say is I am in love with your life. I have been working out of pirates cove on offshore boats and inshore boats for 7 years now and my life dream is to travel the world and fish. Do you mind me asking how you did that and accomplished having such a beautiful life? Have an awesome day buddy maybe I'll see ya around at pirates cove sometime
