Still Nas was more deeper than Big L for sure. But L brought the strongest voice, block drama, energy and charisma and punched like crazy too. Definitely enjoyed him a bit more than Jay. He had that battle rapper fire to him.
Y’all gotta stop the slander and the stuff y’all saying in the comments makes zero sense and has nothing to do with this video. Always these dumb hating ass Illuminati conspiracists. There wasn’t any jealousy or rivalry. There were friends stop trying to make this into a big deal because you don’t like Jay. And to say he got Big L killed makes zero since as his murder has nothing to do with Jay. I bet y’all will say Jay got Big and PAC set up. Y’all lame af.
idk why i started searchin up these videos. i guess dude was on my mind and the shit gets me in my feelings. still just hard to believe he's really dead and if he went thru with the jay z deal, i wonder where hed be at right now. and many other artists. its like the course of history was snatched away from us. kills me
Big L...Probably the biggest what if ever in hip hop...What if he didn't pass away...Personally i think he would become one of the biggest to ever do it and a very successful busines man later on
It's crazy how just a better beat selection could completely change the song into a beast from it's original version! I wish more hip hop artist focused wayyy more on their production because some of my favorite artists have been releasing albums and the lyrics are mad nice but again...the beat selection could be better and it would improve the albums sooo much more but I guess everybody has their own tastes and what one person loves another hates!
Yea it’s sad they fucked up “The big Picture” that bad (the official posthumous album), Lord Finesse said Big L’s father (who abandoned L as a child and came back after he died) sold the masters for just 20k and they fucked up the beats selection…
Blanche club. Remember that scene where this song is in the movie. - Hi chuck, how'd you like to come over and taste me. It's Paulette Sinclair that play that scene with Jennifer Coolidge About 40 minutes in the movie😂
This beat reminds me of some Jedi Mind Tricks/ Stoupe The Enemy Of Mankind production. This remix made this song 10x's hotter!!... beats are just as important as the lyrics to make a 10/10 track in my opinion!!
After studying Big L for a long time this guy was gonna be a billionaire. he would’ve had serious competition with Eminem in 99-02. He would’ve made serious records during that time. What a damn loss. honestly one of the most unspoken losses that’s even happened in hip hop history. what’s hidden in the dark will come to light and I’m glad some artists today still give a shout out to L. Rest easy dawg you was too talented. one of my idols
