The W.A.S.P. Morgue was a fan built website about the band W.A.S.P.. It first went online in late 1996 and went offline in 2009 due to lack of interest. This channel has been created as a continuation of that website to share some of the stuff I have come across over the years that still hasnt been published anywhere. You might also get the chance to hear some of my own interviews with past and present members of the band. Uploads will be happening randomly over time.
This is the original W.A.S.P. Morgue and is not in any way affiliated with any other webstite, channel or social media account that may be using the same name. Nor is it supported by or affiliated with Blackie Lawless, WASP, managements or publicists working with him/them. This is just a simple guy doing this for fun.
That Chris Holmes guitar sound is what made W.A.S.P. what they were. Without Chris W.A.S.P. just doesn’t have their sound.. but this song sure does. This could totally be a W.A.S.P. song. It’s got that mean guitar sound that makes Chris so awesome, that open chord raw chainsaw sound, his sound is really “electric” sounding too, all saturated in chorus.
Yes, that look in his eye when performing is unique and remarkable. What he did came straight from the heart. Love that about him. Passionate, cerebral and sexy. This is more in depth than many of the interviews I've seen of him.
BLACKIE...YOU SAID IT SIR...I DIDN'T HAVE KIDS ON PURPOSE...NOT BECAUSE I DONT LIKE KIDS....ITS BECAUSE THERE ARE UNBEARABLY TOOOO MANY KIDS OUT THERE THAT ARE UNPARENTED OR UNWELL PARENTING...I CAN'T STAAAAND IT WHEN PEOPLE DONT CORRECTLY PARENT THEIR KIDS...I HAVE A GREAT MAMMA AND MY PAA WAS BEYOND AWESOME...I CANNOT DEAL WITH UNPARENTED KIDS...‼️‼️‼️❗
I love all these interviews coming out of the archives. Blackie is very captivating & intriguing in his interviews, very true & real. I never saw many interviews with him before but these are great. Thanks
This guy is such a pathetic narcissist. He should be more humble about his ill gotten gains from stoned teenagers that wanted to RAWK. The only people that took him seriously were pretentious music critics. Most people only hear the big rock and roll beat.
Wow, just got fed this via the algorithm. Thanks so much for posting this great demo! Brought back some good memories. I knew Johnny quite well. Coolest front man ever! I'll really miss him and his honest, fun, no BS approach to loud heavy rock. RIP Johnny Severe
Dear mother, this is a total exclusive!!!Just no words... Infinite gratitude to you!!! This is the best thing, that we hear for the FIRST time ever possible!!! If suddenly you still have W.A.S.P. rough demos from others albums, it will be priceless, since apart from early demos, there is simply no such material anywhere on the Internet for all these years! You really shared real treasure for all W.A.S.P. fans! Bravo!!! 👏👏👏
Unfortunately I don't have anymore demos that's not already out there. I really wish Blackie would release some demos, especially from after the first record. I really enjoy hearing how songs develop from an idea to what ends up on an album.
@@Cskogslund the boxset with the demos he said is a bedtime story this year i heard it today in a 2004 interview the same word by word. What i really want is the sting kfd and still not black enough on streaming platforms and vinyl reissues for the first time in 30 so years it’s a pity nobody gives a fuck
@@Cskogslund Clear, thank you for your answer and in general, thank you very much again for this UNIQUE material, that you shared! I completely agree with you and for me, any W.A.S.P. demos, this is probably the most important thing, that i would like to hear and of course, i am looking forward to box set with big impatience, where will be waiting for us priceless things from 1984 album, without a doubt! If everything goes, as Blackie promises, it will be a huge gift for us! We are waiting and believe! PS Can ask your question, can i contact you by email or are you on FB? I would like to ask you a couple of questions about these demos and show you some photos, things related to WASP demos. If you don't mind, it's really important and you'll probably be interested in seeing something, that i will sent you!
This video used to be in 3 parts and some people had trouble finding all of them. This is all 3 parts in one video just to make it a bit easier to view the whole interview. 🙂
Finally i found something he mentions KFD what an under appreciated album we have to do something so they put it on streaming platforms and vinyl reissues it’s been 30 years
Johnny Severe (John Wolleson) was my best friend for 25+ years. This was his most proud vocal effort ever. He had it tattooed on his back, BORN, WORK, DIE 😭 R.I.P JOHN, Love and miss you Brother
THANK YOU for posting this! I was the band's roadie when they were together in Hollywood. Some of the best times of my life! It was a fucking party the whole time!!!! THANK YOU...I've been looking for this forever. I don't know why I never searched on RU-vid!!!
