Non è proprio così l'Avant Deux standard a 4 parti del Poitou, o meglio l'Avant Deux de Courlay! Le braccia non oscillano come nella maraichine, nella seconda parte (traversé) il percorso non è diritto.. c'è una piccola rotazione al centro e poi si indietreggia dalla parte opposta e nel balancé il passo non è saltato come nella maraichine.. Video come questo sono ideali per diffondere travisamenti che si allargano a macchia d'olio nel mondo del balfolk.

Ciao, ti consiglio di seguire dei gruppi di balfolk su facebook, per esempio quello dei Giovani Danzatori Bolognesi (sono quelli che vedi in questo video) che spesso condivide gli eventi (anche quelli fuori Bologna, dico)
@@ProduzioniClandestine I had to look up Wikipedia for the different worldwide variations that now exist, after the original schottische from Bohemia in Europe. So many, with different spellings! It eventually reached Scotland via dance halls, and the social dance (Ceilidh) version looks like this: www.scottish-country-dancing-dictionary.com/video/schottische.html I just know it as a dance step in a different Scottish Country Dance. However it ends up, just enjoy it!
Thank you for posting this. I didn’t realise balfolk existed outside French communities, as the few balfolk dances I’ve been to were described as French dances, with French musicians. Very different to Scottish country dancing which is much more lively. I like that you allow variations in moves. I remember at one dance, I changed my hold to both hands, while facing each other - common in English country dance. Then we could balance together and back, followed by different turns. The girl enjoyed it. 👍
