Congrats man! I know the area well.. I’m also sure I saw you out the other day. I was the one with the white truck! Great video man glad you could connect this year again. Hope to see ya out there again
Up here in the Cariboo things are just starting to green up. Even woke up to some snow this morning but this has me excited to go for a drive and poke around!
Great patience waiting for him coming back from that brush :) well deserved and that shot placement brilliant. God bless enjoy the taste, heading out too kids love bear meat :) freezer is getting empty . Cheers
I really miss BC. Hunted black bears one time and filled tags. Haven't had the chance to go back but after watching this I'm ready. Do you have any outfitters or guides you recommend? The guy I hunted with years ago passed away. Awesome video.
There are only two ways I am aware of for a non resident to be able to hunt in BC, either through a guide outfitter or through a "permit to accompany" which you must have a family member that is a BC resident and also holds a BC hunting license to be able apply for a permit to accompany you on the hunt. Unfortunately I am not familiar with which guide outfitter to go with. But if you ever get out to BC for a hunt again, I wish you the best of luck.
Too bad you didn't get the shot on camera. I know it's tough to self-film these hunting trips. Things usually do happen quick, like you said. Real nice buck; congrats! Sounds like a hard/tricky pack out. Glad you were able to get it done with a little help.
