...Great Comedy needs a Great "ACT" and this, imho, ranks right up there with the Ledgends of Vaudiville! ...oh my belly hurts. Have followed & laughed so hard since Jeff started out. Always liked Rickles a lot but Don always "held back" a bit, but Jeff just Blasted Off into the stratosphere of Insult Comics/Humor Icons! 💙
There have been many, Many bands that have done cover songs over the years but I've never heard a better cover of song in my life. Imo this is the single best cover ever done. Well done boys!!!!
Pfft...was listening to train doing ramble on and I was leaving the above message on that and this song started up and my message got left here.....lol
Come on, you guys. Jack is a CROONER. Give him a little credit. Jack's version, while polished "smooth" is definitely LIVELIER than George's, and it shows his versatility as a singer. I wonder how George would sound singing Jack's trademark song "Impossible Dream" LOL... That one "ain't" no Possum song.
Even though this was staged, I hope it was improvised just the same in that Glickman was going to play a character and that's all Ross knew and they improvised the interaction. I'd be OK with this as a staged event but not if the whole thing was scripted and an act.
