After graduating in Law School, I started acting in order to fix my shyness. Felt in love with it and never stopped doing it since then. This channel is about the worlds that populate my mind.
Thanks for the beautiful unscritped meditation. Although (or because) your stoicism referenence went nowhere, I do recommend that you read some stoics, such as Epictetus or Musonius Rufus.
My Dashound passed away last year within three months of my wife who loved him more than anything in this world I am devastated my pit mix is my support animal now I don’t know what I would do without her
I'm totally hooked on this vlog! 🎬 Quick question, have you had a chance to try out the new Nomadlane V4 Bento Bag? It looks like a versatile and stylish travel companion! 🌟🌴
Hey, Francine! Did a look on this bag and indeed it looks very versatile. The only thing I would point out is that it seems you either carry it in one hand or you use a single strap to put it on your back. I personally don't find single straps to be that comfortable, specially to carry stuff all day long, but if you're ok with it, I think the bag looks pretty good.
Great video I stopped taking my gummy ones 30 mg and noticed a few bad changes coming back. Went back to it, since i feel sick again. I really need to stop being an in responsible adult and stick to the 2 a day Recomended . I noticed my sex drive increases, and I didn’t get as sick as I always do . Just to share the biggest changes for me at least . 😂 great video though!!!
My husband and I always take our backpacks/rucksacks with us on weekends away and holidays (vacations) in Europe. It's much easier than dragging suitcases around - especially if I also need to take my instrument with me. I'm a pianist and I like to take my portable keyboard on holiday with me. The thing is that we tend not to fly, though. We live in England, so we can take the ferry or even the railway to destinations in Europe. When we visit America, we will have to take the plane, of course. I'm a bit of a nervous flyer, but I can't pass up the opportunity to see California. 🙂
It's so comfortable not having to carry so many things, once you get used to it is one of the best ways. England is great, I love it. Have some fond memories there, and indeed the transportation systems is just awesome. You can count on it and be fine. I've never been to the United States, though I definitely want to go.
I backpacked new Zealand with a small backpack that size but I also brought another decent size bag and wish I hadn’t. I carried it there whole trip and what people don’t often think about on extended trips is that youre also carrying food so remember youre going to have a food baggy to carry too haha
Though carrying more stuff is always nice, the burden to keep taking one big bag from one place to the other can feel clunky. About carrying food, when I did this trip I would leave non important stuff on the place I was sleeping and open space on my bag to carry some sandwiches I prepared. hehehe
I Love it! also seen the video was claiming! :) Actually, I've used the one breath tip A LOT and haven't noticed it! That's exactly what I do before going on stage at my dance presentations :D thank you for the tips! And hope you get the goal on youtube soon!
Really? This is great! Must be something that we humans have a tendency to do on challenging situations. It's funny because it doesn't seem like something that would make a huge impact, but it does. Thanks for the support! 🤗
The funny thing is that only people that experience this understand it, but I like the way you word it, the shadow vs thinking. I say it reacting vs actually thinking.
It's a good way to say it. Once heard that one of the difference between humans and other animals is that the latter only reacts to the environment, while we, in general, have the capability to think and adapt.
I took none of these for the 5 weeks trip and was fine. Thinking about it now, those were also not needed on my trip. When it rained, I waited on a coffee shop or station. Of course it's a trade off, you can't be fully prepared to every single situation and travel light.
Hey Rodrigo, i wouldn't wish for you to have to go through a rough period, i hope you'll feel better soon. if i may i'd like to reccomend the book "courage to be disliked"? the title is a bit lame and self help-y, but judging the book by it's cover would diminish it's worth. the book is about a 'student' and 'master' having a dialogue about life in relation to adlerian psychology. if you can, give it 10 minutes and see if you like it, it might give you a more explained and simplified perspective of the complicated things in life, and help you get through the hard times, it did for me. i wish you the best, take care Rodrigo!
Thank you for the words and book suggestion! Indeed, might consider taking a look, reading is always welcome specially since I've never heard of adlerian psychology. What is it? I kind regret saying life is complicated on the video, thought about removing this part. I imagine that are indeed complicated situations in life, but they are way more uncommon than we might think. All it takes is to have a good perspective, though this is easier said than done.
@@Nossaki i hadn't heard of adlerian psychology either before reading that book, i was suprised to find that like Jung and freud, adler is said to be part of the the founders of psychology. originally adler was a student of freud but eventually went off on his own path due to the very differing ideas they had about psychology. adlerian psychology is in large part also a philosophy, and i feel that there are certainly some similarities to both buddhism and stoicism. all in all, for me it was a very elegant, fresh and well put together way of thinking about things. and i think i get you, when i've thought about things or (personal)situations a lot and come out only either more confused, despondent or without solution. it certainly can feel very complicated.
@@KL-tn1xc Wow, now I'm really interested! Wondering how he matched psychology and philosophy. It seems that Freud inspired many people, even if they deviated by negating him. I guess what you're referring is overthinking, something that I also gave some thought and think it's bad in general. I once heard a quote, it was something like "the genius knows when to stop". It's something to practice it seems.
Heard about this too, though it seems people have a good quality of life unlike some countries that are expensive and yet people struggle. I wanted to go on my last backpacking trip, but time was so short.
@@Nossaki The standard of living in Switzerland is high. The country is very safe with great public transport and it is punctual and serves the whole country. Also the Youth Hostels are very clean and very comfortable. Also on very beautiful places.
It's exactly the opposite of Brazil. Taxes are high but in return the people barely gets any return. I also need to see snow at least once so I need to go. hehe
Holy moly. I was thinking about to cut my pillow as well then my mom said I need to ask the seller first. After watching your video I’m gonna cut it. Mine comes with 12cm height which is way too high. I think normal height should be around 7-9.
I confess I must remember this everyday. The past is already written. Often I caught myself trying to change the past to make the present more comfortable, as childish as it may seems. I'm trying to work things out with therapy. It's a great tool to help me when dealing with myself, and understanding myself better.
Either living in the past or the future can cause great harm. But it's good that you realized you do this and are working your way to fix it and make peace with the past. Wish you all the best!
Descobri essa joinha no YT recentemente. Nos momentos difíceis, me pego querendo voltar aos tempos melhores do passado. Mera ilusão. Apenas queremos fugir do presente difícil. Precisamos aprender a lidar com nós mesmos e com as dificuldades que encontramos. Um bocado de terapia na causa, confesso. Às minhas melhores lembranças, ofereço a minha gratidão. Ao futuro, ofereço as minhas ações e esperanças.
Damn! I just discovered your channel and so far the content is top-notch. 99% of the people in my life are totally against fasting, and while I understand their concern for my well-being, I would appreciate it if they stopped aggressively urging me to eat breakfast... I feel so much better while fasting anyway.
If you feel better it's all you need! I do it till this day, I'm actually in a fasting state right now. xD Not sure how those people in your life would take this, but you can point them to researches affirming that fasting is great. Just put fasting on pubmed and a bunch of stuff will appear. Or just ignore them, some people are really reluctant to changes. Cheers!
Love the message here so much and we totally agree! I believe the same applies to any lifestyle (veganism, minimalism, self improvement etc). It's all about creating the rules that work for you and allow you to maximise your happiness! Also, love your energy, hope to cross paths one day, thanks for sharing ☺️💛
This is indeed one approach, to pursue our own goal rather than the ones set by other people. I never actually read the book, but I think it's related to the matter: being and time by Heidegger. If you ever read this book tell me about it, it's on my to read list.
Yes!! Minimalism is living by YOUR own rules!! Iam so happy you can create some humidity now, this must be crazy to be restricted in your basic needs for water! So it isnt even a non essential item! Its highly essential and probably your best item you posess right now 💧🌊. The best about minimalism is the Discovery that you can create your own 'rules' on whatever area in your LIFE! Regardless of what others do and think! Freedom 🤩
Seems quite essential indeed! Everyday I see the weather forecast in hope it will rain and everyday is the same thing: nothing. Or it says it will rain just to say it will not next day. And regarding the creation of said 'rules' you mentioned, this should in every aspect of life. Adapting things and ideas to what's best for us. Often will people just follow what others said even though the recommendation is far from optimal for them. Freedom!
Rodrigo, great points! Everyone has their "humidifier," or thing that might not be essential, but does add value to life. Minimalism is about being intentional with what brings you happiness, and that's different for everyone. Glad I found your channel, it's great finding fellow RU-vidrs with a passion for mindful living. Just subscribed, keep it up!
Indeed! Since everyone is unique so are the tastes and needs people have. It seems like being intentional and mindful is key to a more balanced and peaceful life. Minimalism when used right is a way of achieving this. Thank you!
The end of the video reminded me of that very old music by Roxette "Listen to your heart", was it the purpose? If it was... What a nice musical taste! 👏😃
The thumbnail!!! 🤩🤩🤩😍😍🤩😍😍 More and more lies are being reveiled. We are being lied to by our governments, the media, the shadowgovernments. We the people who choose for integrity and love are powerful beyond measure, tho it seems the other way around in 3D reality. We would lose all our strenght when going with the manipulating inauthentic behaviour. Long live authenticity ❗We need to find more and more people like ourselves that are here to support and shine our light. ☀️
And it Just isnt sustainable to be inauthentic because like atracts like so the dark atracts more darkness and when you are lovingly concerned for the welfare of others, your own welfare will be taken care of and covered.
Glad that you like it! Indeed, authenticity is vital and even though might be interesting to some people to take this away from us, we should fight to preserve it the best we can.
Claro que lembro, espantoso você lembrar também. Bons tempos da Santos Andrade. Que bom que você gostou do vídeo, Mara! E ah, não sei se te contei, mas sabia que aquele prédio gira?
