@@upnorthcomics I love them on card and the cards are pretty nice. I plan to open Leo only because the bubble is already lifted/ cracked a bit. The rest are MOC
@@upnorthcomics absolutely bud. The whole point of this channel is to share the collecting journey and connect with good folks such as yourself. Thank you for taking an interest here. I’m in the midst of building my turtle lair as we speak!
Most of this stuff isn't holy grail except for the pieces I already have thankfully, or I would have gone crazy! Marx undersea adventure playset, the mattel kraken and titans figures, ljn dungeons and dragons line, and odds and ends are what I desire. Some cool new stuff coming out too like the humanoids from the deep figure! I def would have bought decompose inhumanoids
There were a few krakens last year and I believe there was one this year at this show. I picked up some crossbows and catapults and some d&d last year. We seem like we like a lot of the same things as fantasy is top for me… I also love tmnt and 70s-early 90s Marvel.
You should watch last year’s show if you want to see some ljn ad&d stuff. Fortress of fangs box and the knickerbocker lotr Gandalf I picked up are definitely grails in my book.
Thanks much bud. Most of my videos I will show the haul at the end.. some recently I haven’t. Historically I’ll either show the haul or make haul videos which I do plan to get back to now that the new toy room is done. Thank you for taking the time here!
I try to stop in every other month or so. I hadn’t been by in probably 3 months or more and when I’ve stopped in I’ve always had a ton of fun looking around and would maybe grab 1 thing. I stopped in on the 20th and holy crap… they had everything i was interested in lol. I cleaned up on Superman and grabbed like 8 things, an NES, some sealed ‘92 Conan stuff and a Mighty Mouse lunch box and thermos. The store had a lot of changes since the last time i was in. I also noticed that incredible transformers display and i was like damn, Rons gonna think this is insane. Speaking of insane, that Hall of Justice wasn’t there when i was there. I think i would’ve died if i saw it lol. I’m gonna have to get ahold of him and see what he’s got on it if it’s still there. Also i had the same thought on the “everybody loves funko pops” lmfao. As always, loved the video. It’s always presented in a way that’s like a true feast for the eyes; a buffet of toy goodness.
Hey bro! Hope all is well with you and yours. Great pickups man - congrats! Call him on that HoJ! He’ll get that to you for a good price as always. John is the fairest guy in the game, no doubt. Glad you enjoyed the video and I appreciate the feedback my man! As always thank you for being here. Have a fun and safe holiday 🤝
@@SentriTMC haha totally agree. You can tell, anytime you look at something & it’s a window to a memory, you been doing this a long time. Those are the best salesmen though, they sell without even trying to.
"Rule of cool" - great motto to collect by! Love the seemingly random set-up. Makes you take in everything instead of just rushing to your fave toy line. A real treasure hunt. John's passion is infectious. He's really good on camera, too. Should start his own channel, haha. Space Lego was my thing as a kid. Had so much. Always tempted to pick it up again. Don't collect Transformers but will always have a soft spot for them. Still have my childhood G1s. Starscream is my guy...
John is the best! I tell him all the time he needs his own channel. One of the good guys in the hobby for sure. He runs an honest operation, avoids the nonsense and knows his stuff. Anytime I go I literally spend all day there we just shoot the breeze. I am waiting for the day he inherits an ad&d collection that he populates that front table with… one day.
Absolutely. I say it all the time - one of my favorite if not my personal favorite toy shop in the country and easily one of the best as well. JP knows his stuff, he tinkers, he’s an active hobbyist shop owner which i also agree with you - almost as uncommon as that Faker 8-back lol. Thanks much for taking the time to check out this video! Have a great week 🤝
An awesome walk-through, as always! I get over-stimulated just watching, so I can't imagine the endorphin rush of physically being there! It's a great store, with a lot of variety. (But I'm kinda glad I'm too far away to frequent it, or junior's college fund would take a serious hit!)... Thanks for sharing! Stay cool, my friend! 💥👊💥
What a pleasant surprise, get back home from emergency surgery and I have a video to watch. Without exaggeration this might save my weekend. Thanks for putting out the bids man!
Man, that store is packed. The Masters of the Universe stuff is great. Not into GI Joe, however this store should be a definite for any fan of that franchise. Thanks Ron. Appreciate the effort as always.
Another great video. I was impressed when I first visited the new location. To be honest I'm blown away again watching your video. I left with an arm full of stuff last time. Thanks for the update video.👍
That's a cool store, never been there but through messages. Tracy helped me fill some major holes in my 80s gi joe figures, stuff that is just not available in my area
