Can’t sell on the cheap and depends on availability of replacements - wheeling and dealing minimum fees : Sara £20 million plus add ons Rowe and Sargent similar fees Idah £7 million plus add ons Gunn £10 million Mc Clean £3 million Nunez keep value will increase
Sara is the best talent since Buendia. £20mil plus add-ons Or, Build your team around him for the next couple of seasons whilst his family is settled. Gabigol!!!
This may be a hot take but I think we should just sell idah for 8 million and take in Chris willock from QPR as some of the transfer rumours were saying and also try loan Bobby Clark for a full season.
Quality bit of i sight paddy. Sounds like weve got a good one, think he may just need a bit of time to adapt, but i think the hoff will be able to get the best put of him
I have the feeling that it's a good fit, both regarding the way that Johannes wants to play as well as promoting academy players to the first team, which is very important to him. Also, I hope that he'll give Abu Camara a chance, as he was very impressive at Pompey last season.
I still believe that Norwich are missing a trick if they let Adam idah go it means you can play a different way idah can hold the ball unlike sargent any way thorup sounds impressive but only time will tell if his as good as knapper thinks
If they wanted Idah a deal would have been done by now. I don't think Celtic can afford him. They may be a 'big club' in Scotland, but in truth, their quality is little better than average Championship. They are nowhere near to Premier League standard and Idah is probably beyond their budget.
I’m a little late to this topic but I heard that we’re signing either Chris willock from QPR or Jamal Lowe who was on a Swansea loan this season. Who should we get out of either of those 2? I’d personally go for Chris willock cause before Wagner got sacked, he attempted to make 1 last signing and that was Chris. I think he’d do pretty well for us so I hope we can sign him.
Maybe he didn’t want to be here under Wagner (and none of us really know if that’s the case). Either way, new regime, new opportunities. Wagner is gone. It’s a fresh start for all.
I like the mentality of the coach. The media like to hear that it will take a year or two to be ready to get promoted. Johannes is having none of it. We know it will take time to make changes to the style of play, but he wants to develop it from the start. This club is big enough to be in the premiership, just need to get delia and the board, players, fans believing in the same thing now
Super impressed with him based on this presser. Seems very sharp and clear in his mind as to what he wants, how to achieve it. Reaching out to the likes of Frank for advice is no bad thing either, there's nothing worse than a stubborn coach who will not take onboard external opinions.
I think this is a massive gamble by Norwich, they have just wasted the last 3 years on the wrong manager since Farke went , can they afford to get it wrong again? I hope they have it right this time, on saying that, I do get a good vibe off of Thorup, looking forward to the start of the season 💪🙏
Our new manager already sounds so positive,I hope the players feed off that, our club needed a fresh start after last seasons up and down campaign,I'm sure our boss will give youth a chance as we looked so off it last 3 or 4games including the playoffs disaster, but already I've got good vibes from our Danish manager, what we do need is ball winners in midfield,at the back and upfront we need pace 2 win the close matches ,all the very best to our new young Danish manager, good luck 💛💚🇬🇫🤞🏆
As a dane I´m so exited about this appointment. I have followed Norwich since the golden days in the 90´s with Ian Culverhouse, Ruel Fox, Mark Robins , Darren Eadie, Chris Sutton etc. Johannes is a good guy, very likeable too, and very skillful. Looking forward to august 🤞
They both talk really well, I love what they are aiming for and come across as very professional. Johannes is a great fit to this club but we need to give the whole football club time and be a bit patient and things will, I feel definitely get better. The future is looking really bright for this club. I just hope they keep Sara Sainz and Nunez OTBC
