I’m thinking about getting this for my skiff. Does the spot lock feature only work if hooked up to plotter? I have a small Garmin but it’s only a depth/fish finder.
@@fishingwithaustin8258 I was going to purchase the one with small remote. On the website it says it has gps I-pilot so I’m assuming it will be the same just without the big wireless remote
Man you do your own homework but I only use black line. My mechanic retired from mercury and showed me where the factory plastic type line was like sand. I’m going to put in line on/ off and I have a small filter between the tank and primer bulb. Thank you and God bless
i got onew my knob to the spool has stop making the click noise and just spins :/ insaide the reel its a mix of shimano and abu.. i can say the bearibngs are better than shimano
What did you splice the minn kota charger to to get it started and running with out having to plug into wall ? currently got a pelican bass raider battery dies to quick while on water and i wanna install one of these but not sure if i want to if i need to plug charger in wall … wanna get it to where i dont need to get off of water at all to charge if thats possible
With the wire ends I just clipped them and put them into butt connectors with the heat shrink on them for a good connection. I would use self tap screws to mount into the bass raider.
@buddyboiiiii3164 for getting the fluid out no, but to bleed the air bubbles turn it on and turn it to one side hard, turn off open cap. Turn back on monitor levels. Repeat. There’s more details in the description

I wish I knew but it was so long ago. I would find businesses on Google with ponds by them and just go fish them. Things have changed as the years went by. People littering and keeping fish makes people put up no fishing signs and fencing off old honey holes. Hang in there!
Yeah if it’s wards off corrosion better than by all means! I just like silicone for fighting corrosion best, the bolts backing out didn’t seem to be an issue
@fishingwithaustin8258 I've never tried it, it just seems like the sealant will get sticky and make it hard to back out the screws. Again, just thinking out loud! I'm totally going to steal your idea of the snap toggles!
