how stoked were u guys to get a cabana for only that much more? we will be on Horizon for the second time in August back in Havana on deck 9 again in an aft balcony - we are bringing some first timer friends who were originally in a regular balcony down the hall from us but i felt so bad about them missing out on the Havana area i kept calling back til i was able to get them a cabana - didnt even care that i had to pay the full price for it - so glad they will be able to experience that with us! had honestly never thought much about Havana before we first sailed on Horizon last Sept and the only reason we even booked there is because we prefer aft balconies and it seems all the afts were back there - dont regret it one bit - in fact will be there again on Panorama next year woooo! otherwise really nice vid - nothing like that first bit when u board, or sailing out of port and getting into the open sea, or that aft view while out on the water - cruising is the best
We were absolutely stunned that we got it so cheap! The experience we had with that room was absolutely amazing! The only problem now is that we want a Havana a cabana every time now 🤣. If only the upgrade fairy would call us again 🙏.
@@cruisingpeoples121 definitely hear u there - i didnt think i would ever care that much about it but it really does make a difference so now i just plan that into the budget lol u had no issues with people walking by tho? because thats the complaint i hear the most often or rather the concern that it might not feel as private
@@cruisingpeoples121 oh good deal! our friends will be in 5228 so theyre almost midway down the port side i believe so will have some walking by - hopefully it wont be much of an issue

Thanks for the video! We're doing a similar 4 day + 5 day B2B on Sunshine starting next week. We've been on her a couple times (once as Destiny, once as Sunshine). But it's been over 5 years since we've cruised.
Just couple questions, love your video and the honesty. So is brunch in dining room only on sea days? Is the lunch in the Italian place free everyday, but you have to pay for dinner?
Thank you so much for the comment! Yes brunch is only on sea days, however they do have breakfast in the main dining room the other days. Lunch is free every day in the Italian restaurant and consists of some create your own pasta bowls. Dinner in the Italian restaurant and is $18 a person and requires a reservation. For dinner you get to choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert and you also get bread as well. I highly recommend trying it sometime. Thanks for these videos. It was great reliving the cruise thru your eyes. Just booked my next one for November 2024 on Carnival Vista out of Port Canaveral. Splurging on a Havana Cabana. I passed you in Ocean Plaza when you were scratching lottery tickets. You both looked intense so didn't interrupt.

Sorry for the room issue but happy they finally compensated you. Surprised they had a cabin as I thought the ship was sold out that cruise. It was a great cruise.
@@cruisingpeoples121 I understand. First Cruise post covid in November 2021 my sail and sign card didn't work in the cabin door on embarkation day. Had to stand in the long line at guest services. They sent maintenance quickly but a long start to that day. Second cruise the toilet wouldn't flush one morning. Pushed the button and nothing happened. Showered and dressed before calling maintenance but tried it again afterwards and it worked. Only glitches to cabins recently. Still love cruising. I wonder if ship says "SOLD OUT" but they keep a few cabins on hold for issues like this or COVID in these days.
Enjoyed your vlog. I will be on the Magic in November 2023 out of Miami. Doing a solo cruise. Went on The Norwegian Encore spring break this year (2000 kids on the ship...lol took my 12yr old nephew) so now I have to sail solo to relax
