Hello I saw this working at the bridge just south of Hest Bank. I saw the flask train videos at Bare lane with the 37s 47s and 20s in them that you uploaded to your channel a while ago. I used to remember going down to bare lane with my dad when I was little in 2014 and in 2015 to see the flask trains with the 37s 47s and 20s on them. I wish these trains were still on flask duties today. I still go down to bare lane once in a while to see the 68s but its not the same anymore without the old locos. Kindly the signaller in the signal box at bare lane once let me have a look inside the signal box before it was taken down. The signaller let me pull a lever however it was un operational at this stage as the signals and points were being controlled by Preston Signalling Centre I think. Oh well times move on. At least we get the 37s on the test trains once in a while now. It was great to see the old flask trains on your channel as it brought back some memories for me. Thanks Jack.
I used to live near an oil refinery that used to have those very same alarms but we're gents carter sirens, does that mean that the oil refinery had a nuclear section??
the part of bare should of flooded to the bullshit and freaks who live there talking shit when they live in Morecambe bare is not a village its an housing estate with a tower block of flats and knobheads with cheese the women like it
I used to operate these regularly on class 45's working out of Holbeck ,Leeds in the seventies.They were much easier to use than the Clayton boiler which was awkward to start up.
Its the fire/incident alarm at Heysham twin nuclear power plant.....Heysham 1 gets tested at 10am on a Wednesday and Heysham 2 gets tested at 10am on a thursday. Sound like the old Air Raid siren.....can be heard for miles.
Excellent video! Very good departure by the Jubilee. I've been told now that drivers have to leave the cylinder drain cocks open longer now after the loco has been standing for a period of time. This is a new ruling brought in by WCR. Thanks for Sharing the video!
