So funny watching this today knowing Tommy literally lied his way to fortune. Decent businessman maybe, at least back then, but did he ever actually compose anything himself?
I don't like Tommy. I never have, but now i find it deliciously ironic how he's trying to focus on a family friendly console when back during the PS2/GC/Xbox era he was constantly negative and dismissive about the Gamecube for being "kiddy" on that review show he did with that Lucas fella. He's always seemed like a bit of a shady dude to me.
It's crazy how this guy went from this legend I used to hear my nerdier friends talk about, a guy that seemed to be beloved by many, to a complete hack that turned out to have made the whole thing up. This guy is the definition of fake it till you make it, then keep faking it and falling over yourself until you land right back at square one. The wolf of video game land. Catch him if you can.
No I dont think hes the definition of “fake it”. He more than likely got in over his head with the console he was trying to launch and got pulled apart. His soundtracks on the games he worked on is top class and timeless.
As a JoJo fan, I would be pissed at Tommy for shitting on a legitimately good game, but then I remembered that his current situation is all the karma any JoJo fan can ask for to befall him while Araki became a self made man with his own production studio.
I loved at 4:25 when Tommy said "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the characters are extremely stupid." I'm so glad he actually made the series hand in hand with Hirohiko Araki!
@@sirpiss1708 Considering the shit storm surrounding the Amico, that's an insault to Rohan. Don't get me wrong, Rohan is an asshole, but at least he's capable of actually putting something out instead of going up his own ass with promises he knows he can't keep like Tommy's done.
