Hey man, you're the only person on youtube i've seen with the vermona modular dock - i recently bought mine to plug in the vermona and use it as it's own synth voice sequenced by my other modules. I just can't get the GATE IN to work, so the internal EG is not triggering, and just like in your video i can't seem to get filter modulation by the EG.
So I wanted to get into modular as it seemed to be quite hands on if done correctly. Being a novice I did not feel comfortable making my own system. So I finally pulled the trigger on a pico system 2 and absolutely love it. It has it all really and sounds fantastic!! If it wasn’t for you and another dudes videos I would not have known its capability so THANK YOU very much !! I cant believe the lack of info on this bad boy! A few haters who don’t own one highlighting what it can’t do …, well let me tell you this thing is ready to throw hours long sets with full tweak ability!!
These units do have a very noticeably different sound than the mpc. When I sample my mm6 into the mpc it sounds different when im just monitoring the keyboard thru the mpc then it does after i sample it. I like the way it sounds personally but more so on instruments. I would like to add this unit to use side by side with my mpc5000

This quantizer applies a positive offset to at the output. This makes it incompatible with other pitch sequences. I will often take a quantized pitch sequence from my Mother-32 or Subharmonicon and go through WMD’s Sl3kt (buffered switch) before running it into another Oscillator. I will also run a pitch sequence from a separate quantizer (in this case the Pico Quant) into Sl3kt so I can switch between them. However, the Quant outputs a positive offset, making it incompatible with the other sequence. (One sequence will be in tune and one will not). If I were to switch between the sequences before running them through the quantizer it would fix the pitch issue, however it would not be the same effect as only the notes programmed into the quant would be played and the other melody would have to conform to those notes. I have contacted the manufacturer and they did not care about this issue and simply told me I was doing it wrong. I will no longer be supporting Erica Synths. I suggest anyone thinking to purchase this module considers buying the Disting mk4 as it is only 1hp wider and does not output an offset.
