I think opening the ceiling grates early isn’t a bad strategy, but Johnny can kick down access to them so it may not even matter much. Guess it’s like opening crawlspaces in the base game in advance. It’s not a bad idea if there’s no Leather to tear them down, or a chaser to crawl in after you. Also at 16:40 that’s where I hid in my last game, my soul nearly left my body when Johnny ran in, overlooked me and ran out, I nearly ducked out of my hiding spot but took a chance, scary 😭😂
I'm wondering if fear works the same way it did in F13. Does it get worse in dark areas and lessen in well lit areas? Does it lessen by moving or by staying still more? I didn't buy the content pass so I won't get to experiment these things until tomorrow.
I found this mode very interesting. I really like games that explore Slasher horror. This mode makes players more scared since it removes several ways to defend themselves in the game. However, I don't think it's fair for Johnny to kill victims with just 2 hits, considering there are only 3 ways to slow him down in the game: 1 pepper spray, 2 screwdrivers, and 2 knives. Plus, we can't engage in close encouter.
I agree, I think 3 hits would be a bit more fair and in exchange give Johnny a tiny endurance buff. I love how immersive this mode can be, once he loses his proximity aura things start to get scary. I’ve certainly had some really good jumpscares!
Car keys spawn locations: Best spawn - beside the side front door on a table The better spawn upstairs - on a bedside table right in front the first door from the ladder The most far away spawn upstairs - on a corner table in the game room pretty sure those are the only 3 spawns
I saw people complaining about how short the matches are in this mode, but I think that it fills a niche compared to the main game. Rush Week is for quick, explosive games when solo queuing and the main game is for playing for hours with your friends and desperately struggling for survival.
Definitely. There’s a few things I would adjust in rush week but overall I’m happy that the matches are relatively quick. I think having this mode as a way to fully immerse yourself in the solo experience vs enjoy strategizing with friends in main mode have helped diversify the game for the better
Bro (in female form) you have to increase your in game brightness all the way up cuz this game’s brightness otherwise is honestly trash and we can not see anything

Currently I have mixed feelings on Rush week, I’m enjoying it even though it’s a little unpolished, especially with the janky sound. But what I’m sick of are people DCing once they get Johnny, I wish they’d realize there’s an actual button you can click to say ‘I’d rather be a Coed’ and opt out of the Johnny role altogether. Quitting Johnny closes out the whole game for everyone 🙄 cool you got Johnny though, cool to see his play finally too since I was not blessed with him yet. I did have a laugh the one time I got the attic pole thing and broke it when I panicked because Johnny was near 😂
Overall this new mode has been a lot of fun! Some bugs are to be expected with anything new like this but hopefully any audio issues get fixed soon! I KEPT getting Johnny yesterday so many times 😭 seems like the coed option only appears if you’re not the last person to join the lobby, not 100% sure but a lot of the time it didn’t show up. I think the attic pole is bugged bc I noticed several times it kept breaking after only one person escaped and Johnny wasn’t even nearby so he didn’t break it lol I’m excited to see how they expand on this mode (be it new maps, cosmetics, etc.) because I love how it is so far and it has a lot of potential
This new mode is so good in terms of lore and gameplay, I love the way they used the mecanics from normal game but with some changes. I hope we have more modes in the future (I need one of sissy) ❤️
I’ve been playing it myself, it’s been fun, my only complaint are people DCing because they get Johnny 🙄 I just hope more realize that there’s a button you can select to opt out of playing him altogether if you just want to be a coed
Ig what i mean is this first week of play will be great honeymoon phase but long term istealtylay. Im already getting door slammed by fellow vics and the opening cutsvene is rough af can't lie
