Yeah dude not trying to be rude but having the regal ancestral spirit over Mohg, Fire giant, Rykard and Fortissax is one of the most mind-boggling takes I’ve ever seen on Elden Ring RU-vid💀
igni not being a useful sign? uh- hello? like half the bosses are on easy mode if you use igni. bear has a big health bar? put him on fire and watch the bbq cook golems constantly blocking your attacks in the front? put them on fire (with exception of fire golems obviously, then use ard) and watch their defences crumble. higher vampire keeps teleporting around, just set him on fire, enemy about to take flight? set them on fire, you might even time it right to knock it right back down id say that arguably, in early game (aka before you unlock the mutagens menu) igni is 1 of the best if not the best sign like 90% of the time
I kill them all easy Peasy. As I get my level higher than the boss I’m fighting only by about 3 or 4 higher. And Deflof falls easy when he sprouts his wings when you use the skill you take down wraiths, as when he lands in that circle he crashes to to ground and you can attack him easy
Nice job homie! I'm impressed, it's very hard to do. I am just starting my level one journey but I'm trying to do a parry level 1 journey. I suck at parries. What better way to learn. Not all bosses can be parried and that's a shame... so I got a different weapon for those. I'm using... something star 😆 it's like a spikey mace. I hope I can do as well as you did.
The Toad Prince was a super short fight for me, because I was playing a Griffin build with Igni as my focus, and I had superior Golden Oriole, so the poison damage was healing me as I fought.
26:50 the hardest boss and most intelligent AI, they attack in a group and also everyone lunges at you when you are stuck in the web. otherwise they run away. if you try to catch them you get hit by another one in the back.
RU-vid's not my main platform so I upload very rarely. People don't really have any reason or desire to sub and that's ok :) This video really hit the algorithm when the Witcher TV show came out and has steadily gained traction.
i challenge myself couple years ago to finish the game in the hardest difficult, death march, i was able to finish the game and both DLC's , frog was not that hard, but i really struggle alot in 2 parts, beggining dieing to fast creature packs like wolfs or explosive hit kill creatures like drowners, and in near end against Dettlaff, didn't defeat all the 90 bosses in the game, and definiltly skipped Olgierd fight after like 5 attempts that barely lower 10-20% of his hp bar... but it was fun after all.
Honestly for me it's feline gear or nothing. The attack bonuses are just so damn good. I equipped viper gear for a while while i was crafting grandmaster feline gear, but then i quickly switched back to the lower level mastercrafter feline gear because with the viper gear i felt like my swords were made out of wood. Like, seriously, when you feel what it's like to have feline gear attack bonuses, there's no going back. I'm always so confused when i look at witcher 3 gameplay and I wonder "how are they doing so little damage, was i just overleveled for that boss?", then i remember i just used feline gear lmao.
I am very surprised you rated Dimm that low. Aye, you don't actually fight him, and it isn't the trickiest thing to figure out his riddle, but it's a heck of a lot harder than some of the actual fights.
Maybe the hardest boss is the Steam two factor signin. The bochling and the Wraith from the Painting were the hardest for me. Those healing gimmicks make the fight unwinnable until you figure them out or look them up. I could grind out just about every other fight in the game without a walk through, so I guess those were the hardest to me.
Honestly most of these are really easy if you play sign-based. Igni can kill Old Speartip on deathmatch with just two or three casts, which you can do from afar.
The Witcher 3 complete edition PS4 easy difficulty level 38- killed Toad prince boss with aerondight Enhancedcursed oil superior blizzard superior Thunderbolt & superior white raffard potions 👍
89 Nathaniel is not a boss or even I want to put it He Is Not The Guy. In the quest you need to talk to him and the real boss is the Coroner that presents himself as a Higher Vampire. For me it is a mistake putting Nathaniel in here not the Coroner.
Honestly if they fixed the swordplay feel, this would be the perfect game. It’s just compared to sword combat in other games, this feels too floaty and dancing and I don’t feel the physical hits like I want to
I almost agree pinpoint on this one. My problem with many of the ER bosses is how incredibly visually unclear many of the attacks are. Elden Beast is just a complete disaster of a boss-fight pacing wise - but I suppose everyone already agrees there at this stage. The problem with the whole soulsborne formula is that, after a while, it's just not expressive enough to present much new. So we end up with all these gimmicks - most of which just aren't very fun to deal with. Personally I would rate Rhadan much lower than you did (probably around Mogh); but that's from the perspective of actually summoning allies as the game incentivizes you do. I just find his attacks so unbelievably hard to follow when he swaps aggro. Most notably the attack where he scoots around on his decrepit horse at breakneck speed. Also his cape constantly blocking your screen when you go in to attack is just... painful. It even happens in your footage here. Malenia and Godrick are definitely the highlights. Both communicate the challenge very well, and actually fit on the damn screen rather than having you reduced to ankle-biting.
Even by your own metric your choices are quite odd. I think you enjoy Laxasia so much is because it actually challenges you after several runs as opposed to being, by your own definitions, "well designed". I disagree she has good reads; several of her attacks are visually difficult to distinguish. Classical example being the projectiles; most 3d games suffer from the fact that the distance from the camera to some particles flying your way is hard to tell. But also her flurry combinations are a complete crapshoot until you have seen them several times. Let's not fool ourselves by pretending the animation looks anywhere near natural/deducible. The zipping around attack is also very headache inducing (very fast camera spinning). In the first few attempts I tried the boss she also locked me into a corner effectively causing me to lose my camera (similar to what happened to you during the Bischop fight in this footage). As icing on the cake she also has two full phases, where just a single entry prior you state you prefer that not be the case. Laxasia seems designed more around multiple playthroughs than being reasonable for people first meeting her.
I took down the harissi 8 levels below the recomandation in death march, it was long, and i took me quiet a long time since i was hiding to regenerate my health, still it feels like a proper difficulty, i still found the game quiet easy in death march, 5 wolfs are basically more dangerous than any bosses
Ive killed the archigrifon in death march with 10 level bellow the needed level quiet easily, i just randomly came across him, put a lot of potions and oil abd there we go
I once killed the toad prince severely under leveled ~20 levels below where he is because I wanted to get the gwent card from the expansion. The fight took about an hour. Then I got stuck on the wraith gang since I still could deal no damage to them. I recall there was a trick to toad prince though that made it not impossible.
Pretty sweet video dude, very throughput explanation to sustain your thoughts on each boss and respective rank. Also love the Narration! Thanks for the video!
