I can't believe that I am just hearing this excellent discussion! and panel. I have my notifications on now. My question- My att focus and theme have strong roots in mental health, healing, trauma and epigenetic trauma specific to our African Anerican experience. My media of choice is oil. I have several mixed media pieces as well. Is there a particular market where I can share my works? Thank you all!❤
That’s a good question. (Do you find more collectors collecting current event-Art?) throughout art history, current-event art has not always been the most popular in terms of collecting during the exact times that the event took place. As time goes on, it becomes a part of the history and culture, then it becomes popular as a collective peace
This is exactly the kind of comment I’d like to see on my channel. I want to spend more time talking about the visual vocabularies around black art. When to call it black art and when to address it as African American art. Somehow people think african diaspora artists are having the same conversation as african American artists. ❤ So thank you for commenting

Good day. I am inviting you all to a major Art exhibition in Jamaica on 26th June 2022, at the National Gallery of Jamaica. Please be safe and stay healthy.
Congratulations to these terrific young artists! This year's College exhibition at ArtsWorcester was exceptional and I applaud all the effort that went into putting it on-line!
