Thanks for sharing. I ordered the vinyl version. “Tea in the Sahara” was always the proper ending to this album, not “Murder by Numbers”. My first concert was the Synchronicity tour opener in Chicago at the old Comiskey Park. Caught them again on the reunion tour. One of my all-time favorite bands. ❤️💛💙
I really hate "I seen All Good People" it starts gret! and than drives me nuts with repeating same words 40 times. Fragile is birth og YES just like Meddle is birth of Pink Floyd, my personal opinion. Thanks for watching
@@luanmurseli well, Starship Trooper or Perpetual Change, both are super pieces. Anyway, I find this set as a “passage” between “Time and a Word” and Fragile on the way to the top “Edge”. Like Trespass from Genesis.
My fave albums are the first seven but I do love a few more of them especially Senjutsu!! Some absolutely amazing songs on that one.. My first album was Powerslave, then I got into Maiden through the debut etc.. But my fave album is Piece of mind!! UP THE IRONS!! 🤘🏻😎
Sting after 1987 is just boring. The only track that I like is "It's Probably Me", a duet with Eric Clapton. Andy Summers has done good jazzy albums after The Police: underrated.
Good video. Hope you do more of these. I still buy vinyl, CDs, and cassettes. I want the label, the artwork, the inserts that came with it. I don't download, burn CDs, and never had an MP3 player or an ipod. I was told if I burn off a CD, I can print the label and the cover art. I tell them it's not the same and I explain why. Some will never understand. I've found albums I've been trying to find for a few years and end up not buying it because someone wrote their name on the cover. If a band or artist goes to the trouble to have great cover art, special packaging, inserts, posters, etc. I want that experience.
the price for this box set is a Scam....a total robbery , the cds are packaged in those cheap card boxes, ugly plastic bags, ... same program in both editions. Should have been the new remixed edition and a good amount of bonus stuff....
Flott unboxing igjen. Hvor kjøpte du din? Veldig lyst på denne men usikker på CD eller vinyl. Litt lyst til å utvide min Sabbath vinyl samling men samtidig lettere å fylle hullene i min CD samling. Er vel omtrent bare disse jeg mangler. Har den Tony Martin platen som mangler i denne boksen. I hate rap too… with a passion. Just mentioned it in my Keave video where one of their records are almost ruined because some idiot made them colaborate with a rap «artist».
Hei Morten, jeg synes CD boxen er bedre, de mangler bare "The Eternal Idol" fra 1987 med du kan kjøpe separat CD og legge in i boxen. Jeg har dene bare po vinyl. P.S. snart kommer Jethro Tull ‘Bursting Out’ stay tuned 👍👍👍
@@luanmurseli I will give "TYR" one more chance. Otherwise I am with you: the last proper album of Sabbath was "Live Evil", everything else is Tony Iommi solo records, more or less. I really like the trilogy he made with Glenn Hughes: "Seventh Star", "The 1996 DEP Sessions" and "Fused". His best work in 40 years! 🙂✌️
At last! An honest review of Kate Bush's music without the hysterical ass kissing from her nutso fans who refuse to acknowledge she can get it wrong. Agree with you completely, although The Dreaming sort of grew on me after a while xx
Sadly he never did anything as good as first two MSG LPs. He wrote so much music on "Loovedrive" 1979 LP Scorpions best album of all time, and never credited for as writer.
Great album but not much new in this box except a new mix and some bad sounding live performance. Would be better if they did a box for Perfect Strangers and re-mix the album.
Because I got into AC/DC earlier, I never realized that the "letters" thing on the back of the international High Voltage sleeve is taken from Kiss' Alive, which has written notes from the band members. The idea is the same, to tell something of each member's personality. Anyway, lovely showcase. I'm a huge AC/DC fan, but I'm not entirely happy with the state of the catalogue. I have the entire discography, including a bunch of the DVDs, but would have to re-buy a lot of the albums to have the proper versions. The Ted Jensen masters from the early 90s are already pretty inferior to the original releases, and the 2003 digi pak CD series are the worst in terms of compression. Luckily, on a technical level, LP cannot do the kind of compression CD can, but still, the LP releases from the last 25 years, including the new 50th anniversary series, are basically all those 2003 masters again and again. You can breathe new life into classic albums by doing proper re-releases, specifically mastered for LP, but unfortunately AC/DC is focusing on putting out colored vinyl instead.
