@@trainer_red7645 Almost got him beat on the Any%. S% is just gonna be more RNG heavy. Probably will take longer on some levels but theres a few he has that can improve pretty easily I think.
Depends on the map. SA58 usually but most if not all the rifles are viable. Armor also depends. I ran front and back ceramic here but try to use front only ceramic when I can. On low suspect counts you can get away with kevlar.
@en-svensk-tiger Well heavy armor and light armor move the same speed. You actually move the same speed no matter what while healthy. It's the acceleration that changes when choosing the kind of armor and how much coverage. Example: Heavy Armor front plate only ceramic is the same movement speed and acceleration as Light Armor with only front plate ceramic. Steel is the slowest acceleration, then ceramic then Kevlar with Kevlar having zero acceleration penalty. The more coverage you add the slower acceleration you have. On steel and ceramic where ever you don't put armor it puts Kevlar. Heavy has side protection while light doesn't. So I choose Heavy Armor with front ceramic so my sides and back are lined with Kevlar. If I did the same on light, I'd only have Kevlar on the back because light has no side protection. It's up to you really but I don't see a point for light unless you want the extra 2 slots. Like for running S ranks is the only time I'd switch to light.
@@en-svensk-tiger But ceramic for the most part with only the front plate. Best overall protection for the least acceleration penalty. Some missions with lower suspect count I will run full Kevlar to have zero penalty to acceleration
@xdrkillzx Because it's an Any% run lol. The whole point of that category is to exfil as fast as possible which means fail everything thats not a HARD OBJ except order to chaos as fast as possible (So you can soft complete) Objective% to rescue civs you shoot and incap them because it's faster to restrain lol. It's almost like speedrunning in any game exploits it or is ran in a way the developers didn't intend.
What're you talking about? The restart button at the beginning? Bud you can restart a mission at anytime. I restarted because I heard a suspect on lower level that killed the run.
@@keva94 The category you're thinking of is Solo AI which has the swat AI. Then you have Commander Mode as another category and thats a full game playthough.
@StaypuftTheMarshmallowMan Yeh for sure I said it was a shit run. But rolling for no suspects on 1st floor can be rough. Suspect at the end added another couple seconds on top of the bleed. I'm shooting for 45seconds or under next time.
@mtf_iota-10 Technically, yes, it's a successful failure, lol. The whole point for Any% in this game is to soft complete as fast as possible. Same goes for the other 2 categories Arrest% and Objective%. S Rank you're not soft completing because you have to grab everything without getting violations. There's different rules for each category. But if you're not speedrunning the whole point of the game is to get the best letter score. Not the worst one..
Because there's no movement speed difference between heavy or light. You move the same max speed regardless of what you have on. It's acceleration that changes but that's due to the type of plates or material you use. For example Heavy Armor with ceramic only front plate is the same as Light Armor ceramic front plate only. Its the same acceleration. The more coverage you add the slower your acceleration. Steel is the slowest for acceleration and the more you add the worse. The other reason why I run heavy is because running front only ceramic is the fastest for the protection it has. It also puts Kevlar on my sides and back which is good against pistols and such. Not good for rifles unless I'm only getting hit from the front but again it's for the least amount of acceleration penalty to my movement. If I need the extra 2 slots I'll run light. But if not then it's heavy armor.
That's why I take this path. After the first few doors the angles this route has I feel you can shoot them easier if they spawn on doors in your path plus a good chunk of them will face you this way. There was one by balcony so the rest were in spots I don't need to be at.

@@sic308941You mean high ready instead of low ready? Either one doesn't matter as it's the same movement speed. Which you can see I'm in low ready when I can for that movement speed lol. High ready kinda sucks anyways IMO.

@____z1 lol .010 from my true solo. Bots clutched up on that last dude. Idk how you get faster because I was also running Kevlar for the acceleration. Besides just killing faster. Probably should've been running JHP on this one.
